To all who has been castrated, can you tell me how your body changed after castration?

Did you gain weight? Did your body went feminin?

Lots of questions!

Yes I gained weight. I am not sure it was about the loss of T as much as just switching addictions. My compulsive desire for sex was gone so I replaced it with food. Being overweight has also helped insulate me from sexual advances. Having a lack of interest in sex along with not attracting anyone sexually works well.

My body did feminize in it's fat pattern mostly from my waist down. A softer belly, more weight in my thighs and a more rounded ass. Body hair is greatly diminished.

Gaining weight was my worry too. If you use enough replacement testosterone to reach a low normal level, don't over eat and exercise enough every day, you should be able to maintain your normal weight and you body hair will remain. If you increase your testosterone level, further restrict your daily calorie intake and considerably increase your exercise regime, you should be able to lose weight and gain muscle mass in the process. Your body hair will also grow significantly. If you want to be hairless, you'll have to shave it off. That's been my experience anyway. Make sure that you are under a doctor's care on a regular basis who can monitor your health progress. Too much T is bad for you, just as is too little.

Being castrated is certainly a life changer, for the better or for the worse, depending upon your mental attitude and how you physically cope with it. It is something that forces you to always take care of yourself if you want to be and remain healthy. Starting now with diet and exercise to lose weight and get into condition beforehand is a prudent decision, IMO, because it will be easier later on to continue with this habit.

It has been awhile(almost 2 years) but I believe I did gain some minor weight while I was on androgel. I have been on estrogen for about 10 months and lost about 18 pounds (182 to about 164). In all honesty there really had not been much other changes physically or mentally other than my libido has been drastically reduced. I am old and grey so I suspect a younger person would have more dramatic changes.

With no T, I gained a little weight, but mostly just changed shape some. A little more around the hips and a very little breast enlargement. Hair on the head became thicker, and thinner elsewhere. Skin lost grease and smelled much better!

Dick became smaller. In all, I became happier.

Now, my doc has persuaded me to return to injected T, and many of the changes have gone away.

Yes i have noticed some changes.

Its been over 2 1/2 years now, i started off with no to very little "T" what i did notice was the lost of strength and has some mental changes, now i are back on a dose to keep my "T" within normal to low levels.

I have have lost a lot of body mass as in muscle and have put some weight on around the stomach and i could say my hair growth has changed a little bit one important thing that i have had tested is my bone density which has droped.

Over all i would like to reduce my "T" intake to a lower level but as i work in construction work that would make my working life harder
