Very slow website response

I'm wondering if you have any idea why I'm getting a very slow response from the website, it's like I have a 56k modem connection or something? For several days I did not even get the website to open and got tired of waiting for it so I don't know if it would have gotten me there or not. Today I waited and finally got to the website but the response is not what I'm used to seeing by any means.

We've been seeing that a lot lately. No idea why. Yet. I do believe the webhost has been contacted about it.

I've had that happen from time to time and had always blamed the area I now live in. It is a place of twentieth century technology and nineteenth century ways.

I've seen the same here (and I first blamed potential local censorship ).
