Cost of Cigarettes
According to The Awl's annual cigarette price check, for which they call delis in each state and ask how much a pack of cigarettes costs, New York clocks in with the most expensive, at more than $14 a pack
In Kentucky, where the cigarette tax is just 60 cents, a pack costs $4.96
I had to quit smoking. Shingles took away my desire for nicotine.

Re: Cost of Cigarettes
When a friend of mine is so desperate to smoke in front of me (and he knows what I'm going to say) I ask him to drop his pants, bend over and hand me his cigarettes. I threaten to stick them up his ass because that's better than smoking them. Funny thing, he's never taken me up on that offer.
I apologize for being a bit too vulgar and strident about that.
(I fixed infant to "in front". Blame it on my fumble fingers.)

Re: Cost of Cigarettes
in front ... ... ... damnit ... ... ... in front.
That's the same mistake that forced me to generate a fourth proof on my anthology. I just started reading it again. That takes a week.
For some reasons, my keyboard and fingers like "infant" instead of "in fact" or "in front" ...
damn. All those effing "f" words.

Haha!
Yeah, I have words that I cannot type either.
That's why I so need a pervy proofreader!

Therein lies the danger of a spell checker. It can turn your gibberish (from which someone could figure out what you really meant to type) into a real word (which people assume you meant). I've been stung that way many times, sometimes with embarrassing consequences.
