different procedure

Post by marcismall (imported) »

Hello all; I am a new member Marci Small sissy and gender explorer. I am intrested in a procedure I have heard of but never seen. In this operation the testies are pushed up into the body where they came from and pinned there, the scrotal sack removed and everything sewed up. It ends up looking like your testies are removed with only the penis remaining, you still have testies and they work but are inside the body. Does anyone know about this? Love Marci

It is certainly possible from technical point of view.

But there are few issues:

Testicles are outside due to a reason - they need lower temperature for the sperm to mature (so - putting them in the abdomen would make one sterile, with very high probability

Second issue goes from the first - as far as I remember, in case of undescended testicles, one of possible issues is testicular cancer - you can't check them easily if you can't get to them.

I think there can be other problems, of which I could not remember or do not know.

Dear fhunter thanks for your response, had not considered the cancer issue and gives me food for thought, I had been considering the procedure more cosmetic than anything. I just think it would look and feel so much better, plus my panties would fit better without those nasty balls in the way all the time.Love Marci

Inability to check for testicular cancer is definitely an issue. I had an undescended testicle not discovered until I was twelve. The doctor did an orchipexy to bring it down and try to save it but it didn't work. The testicle atrophied and has now completely reascended so I'm unable to check it. According to medical standard practice the testicle should be removed due to the ten times higher cancer risk but my urologist won't remove it.

Dear Hopeful1, thanks for your thoughtful response, cancer is a worry, actually I expected some atrophy and don't mind that. I actually tuck and push my little balls up into the body all the time now with no difficulty or discomfort, they just dont stay there without frequent readjustment, the empty scrotum is still a problem with the look I am going for and would be happy without it. Marci get yourself a "Gaff" it will push those balls up in you and they will fall back when you remove it.

If my memory is not playing tricks, there was a post some time back about about someone (a doctor if I remember) who, instead of being castrated had the testicles implanted during a vaginaplasty.

From what I remember it was so that she could continue to orgasm during sex. However, there was a note to say that she had had them removed later.

Dear baldwin92 and colin: Thamk you for your ideas, I have used a gaff for many years, it is effective although somwhat uncomfortable so I only use one for special occasions and it still has the problem of excess sack skin to deal with. If ypu try to tuck you will see what I am talking about. That said it seems that a gaff may be my best option. Dear colin, I read a paper someplace where this was an option in srs procedures.I can't find the paper now but it was supposed to help the patient with desire and orgasm. Its what gave me the idea in the first place. Do you know what the procedure is called? Love Marci

I recall reading a page, perhaps on the old BME, about a transgender individual who had this done - in order to maintain hormone levels and desire, etc.

I just can't remember who it was, or where the link was...

I should point out that we still don't know one important thing about the cancer link - does the testicles' position in the abdomen increase cancer risk, or does some underlying condition cause both cancer risk and undescended testicles?

The distinction is important - if it's the latter, surgically repositioning testicles into the abdomen would be harmless, though you'd want to consider periodic ultrasounds to check for testicular cancer as you age.
