THE JUDGE (movie)

THE JUDGE is a movie vehicle for Robert Downey Jr and Robert Duvall.
It is a courtroom drama of sorts - - the strict and very judgmental old geezer of a judge - Robert Duvall - who has so many problems he probably should just be sitting in a nursing home, goes out for some stupid groceries on the rainy night of his wife's funeral and quite possible runs over a bad guy he sentence to prison for 20 years and who just got out. He's defended by his estranged son. And Robert Duvall's character has cancer.
Got that.
IT is a good drama but whether it satisfies you depends on how much you believe the characters and the situation.
It's OK for once or maybe twice.
But there are better courtroom dramas that I can watch again and again.
