The Mad Men finale.
Were YOU satisfied.
The more I ponder it the more I am.
Initially I was let down but, now find it very well thought out.
(psst, I bet Dave does not watch Mad Men but, will comment

)

Really, he went back to McCann? I was disappointed.
Though now I can consider myself old as I'm officially a child of the Mad Men era. The series ended the month I was born.

Hello Boys And Girls
Yes indeed there was a Big, Bad, Industry Dominating, McCann Eriksson company in Advertising in that day.
I just read an article about the story behind that famous Coca Cola commercial.
A Real McCann Eriksson guys flight got diverted away from a scheduled London landing.
He was pissed then, saw other passengers enjoying themselves with a Coke. Epiphany Plus.
Where is that thread anyways.
We all wish Don Draper / Dick Whitman found "peace and serenity"
He found the base of what made him a success. Was that a waste of "uuummmmmmm" time?
I wish Stephanie and Don's story was happier.
Roger and his new wife, Megan's mother was a great move.
And that many of the junior staff became major staff elsewhere and could still help each other out was a nice touch too.
The more I ponder the finale, the more "complete" and satisfying I find it.

I am sure at some level that made total sense, but without a reference point or three its just words on a page.
Ernie what do you think?

I never watched MAD MEN. I just wasn't interested by it. The same with THE SOPRANOS.
Some of my friends think it's wonderful. Good for them. Some of them even binge watched the first season or two.
Whatever floats your boat.

Ok thanks, another TV series that I failed to watch, guess I was reading a book. Actually I don't watch much TV, I find there are 200 channels with nothing on all for $150 a month. Like I said, I would much rather read a book or write a story, or watch paint dry.

Mad Men had a damned fine script.
It examined the time of our youth (if you are in your sixties or beyond)
in ways we do not see portrayed in today's entertainment industry.
Sometimes, the story line was wonderfully parallel to historical events.
To those who missed it,
Enjoy "The Dome" returning as a Summer series.
No script. No cast of note. Just filling time. :tongueout
