it should not have to be so hard, painful and dangerous!!! why do doctors have to put up so many road blocks and force people to feel that there is no other way when it can be done safely..... hope he is ok?

I give the man credit for coping with the pain of being banded for eight hours and not being able to empty his bladder all that time. The longest banding I've managed is one hour. I hope the surgeon did a neat job and that the man is fully recovered and happy with the outcome.
