Found a fantastic local therapist, got my letter, and I'm starting HRT! So excited to see how my body responds to estrogen. Not sure how the endo will start me out, but I figured it would be better to get started on hormones (and have bloodwork and a relationship set up) prior to having my orchi so my T levels don't drop and I have nothing. I'm assuming I'll just stop T blockers after the orchi and continue estrogen so everything stays level. Wish me luck.

I understand that Injectable and sublingual estradiol formulations are safer although In my country only oral form is available so that Is what I´m currently taking . At the beginning estradiol caused me some nausea and headaches but It seems as If my body were adappting to the drug. Now I´m feeling better.

I´m following a similar procedure like you. First start on HRT, I´m currently on It, then planning an orchi and afterwards stay just on estrogen. I hope also don´t need Antiandrogens in the future.

Thanks! I'm so excited. Stuff is moving quickly. Countless hours of research have helped but having it happen is overwhelming but relieving at the same time.

Glad you're feeling better have you had any breast growth or noticeable facial changes on HRT?

As I started not long ago, It's soon to see great changes, but after some weeks on estradiol my facial expression is a bit less "masculine" , skin less oily and I have noticed a different shine in my eyes. Beard grow slowy and thinner than before. My nipples are sore and puff up and fatty tissue has appeared around . I have to say that I have been on a quarter of androcur seven months before. I think that It has helped to enhance the effects of estradiol. I´ve stopped androcur and now I´m on spironolactone as antiandrogen.

Got my prescriptions today.. Started with estradiol and spiro, oral for now, will switch to injectable down the road if everything goes well.

So it begins.

About 5 hours after my first dose I felt like I had chugged a couple energy drinks. If this continues I'll be uber productive.

For what it's worth, they put me on 4mg estradiol and 200mg spiro per day. Spiro will be discontinued after orchi. Took today's dose and after the energy spurt earlier this afternoon everything seems back to normal with no adverse effects.

my dose of spiro is 75mg stepping up by 25 mg each week up to 200mg. My initial estradiol valerate is 2mg for two months then 3mg and finally 4mg. I´m feeling fine, My penis is totally numb, no masturbation at all. I´m very happy with this results!!!

The crazy energy continues. Called my doctor and I'm waiting for a call back to see if this is normal. I don't feel bad, just hyper.

Skin is less oily today as well.
