If we just told the doctor that we wish to be castrated

That would be my long-term plan. Now I´m using antiandrogens and soon I´ll be adding Estradiol to my regimen. Within two or three years I will try to find a doctor that practice me an orchidectomy only by Insisting him that I want to be castrated.
Dou you think that can be possible convincing to a doctor performing only by insisting over and over again?
He would send me to a psychologyst? I could convincing him or her also only by insisting?
I would tell them about my orientation, and that when my gonads were removed I would like start an HRT based on estradiol instead testosterone.

I don't see that happening. I tried a variation of that with no success. Easiest thing is to go to a doctor who does elective castrations. That is finally what I did.

I sure hate to bust anyone's bubble but I used EVERCLEAR for well over 3 years In that time I injected over 2 liters. I started at about 0.75 cc's and gradually worked up to about 1.5 to over 3 cc's. I started to complain to my PCP about pain in both tentacles about 9 months ago. He said that I had an infection and gave me a prescription for antibiotics. I knew that was not the problem so I did not bother taking them. About a month later I told my urologist about how they have become shrunken and that they were hard and so painful that they hurt constantly, with occasional sharp stabbing pains starting with them and shooting up past my groin and to my side I also told him what my PCP said and the antibiotics did not help ( of course they didn't help, I didn't take them.) I don't feel any regrets about exaggerating my symptoms to each doctor that I saw, because in the long run I accomplished what I started out to do. My urologist palpated them and said " yes they are small and hard" I asked if he had squeezed them and he said yes and that he squeezed them so hard that I should have been screaming with pain He sent me for an ultrasound. That showed a mass inside each but they could not determine what it was. So the urologist sent me for a CT scan and it showed the same thing. He said he needed to do a biopsy to see what was going on. Of course I had researched how that is done. They make a 4 inch incision in the groin about 3 inches above the penis. Then take the testicles out and then do a biopsy and put the testicles back. I had a long and frank talk with him and told him I had a vasectomy years ago. I reminded him that I am already taking T shots because my T was so low. It seams that the boys were no longer producing any testosterone ( Gee I wonder why). I said that I discussed it with my wife and I told him to just remove them. He reluctantly agreed and took them on 23 Dec 14. He felt them when they were out and could not understand why they were so hard. He sent them to pathology and they dissected them and found a hard necrotic mass in the center of each of them. He even gave me a copy of the pathology report which said the same thing but in more detail. My urologist sent a question to the urological association and no one had ever heard of such a thing. Can you believe that? He told me if he had not removed then, they may have become gangrenous with that infection spreading through my body. Well the boys are long gone. I have no discomfort any more. The bag is empty. The incisions are healing nicely. Would I do it all over again? ABSOLUTELY .

I'm going to be 71 this year. I sure hope I don't have to wait 3 years. I'm injecting 1.5ml every 5 days in each side. My last T check in January was 178. A re-check is scheduled for 4-20 and I have an appointment with the urologist on 4-24. I'll consent to non invasive procedures like an ultra sound but no more than that. I plan on telling him the only surgery I'll consent to is castration.

Maybe you should take a chance on the CaCl2, since it seems the ethanol seems to take a long time, assuming that is really what you want. By the way, are they checking your PSA and other numbers?

Freddyde- There are many doctors in Mexico that work with transgender patients. Getting an orchie for a trans person is generally a lot easier.

Yes, it's what I really want.
I get my PSA & Testosterone checked every 6 months since the radiation treatments in '06. PSA consistently runs .4 range. T ran as low as 130s when I first asked for it to be checked along with the PSA. That was some time after I refused to take any more Lupron. After that it has consistently run in the 280 range. That is until the last check in January. PSA was .6 and T was 178. The urologist told me to get re-checked in April. I also see the oncologist who did the radiation once a year. I saw him on 2-25. He told me my testicles were atrophying. That may explain the 100 point drop in my T level. The radiation cured the prostate cancer but also caused a lot of collateral damage. It didn't happen all at once. 2 years after the radiation I needed 2 rectal cauterizations to stop bleeding from scar tissue. 2 years after that urethral strictures repeatedly put me in the ER in the middle of the night because I couldn't urinate. 3 surgeries on my urethra seem to have fixed that problem for now.
I figure the testicular atrophy is just another unpleasant surprise from the radiation. My testicles have been weak since the radiation and long term T levels under 300 have had the expected results. No erections, no ejaculations and my penis will disappear if it gets any smaller. I don't want to subject myself to possibly repeating those numerous surgeries. At close to 71 why do I need a lot of Testosterone? Right now I see castration as no big deal, similar to removing my tonsils, appendix or gall bladder. I have no further use for testicles and I want them gone. I can always use a little TRT if needed. I see my PCP doctor every year for a thorough physical. I'm about due and will do that in the next week or so. It includes a complete blood work up. I'll ask him for a T check too.
One of my concern is the urologist examining my testicles and asking, "What have you been doing to your testicles?" He's a young sharp doctor who didn't just fall off the back of the turnip truck. He may figure it out at first glance. It'll be interesting.

Just blame it on the radiation - sterility is a well-known side effect of radiation poisoning.

That's what I plan on doing. I've had other collateral damage from the radiation. He's aware of it and I will build my case for castration around it. I hope it works.

Not everyone can handle Everclear even in small doses. I myself have the adh1b*3 alcohol metabolism gene.
