A MARRIED television presenter claims he took a blonde stranger to a Russian sauna — and woke up without his testicles.

Dmitry Nikolaev, 30, said he was drinking at a Moscow bar when an attractive woman began flirting with him.

Russian news website LifeNews reports the pair caught a taxi to a sauna where Nikolaev had a beer.

He said he woke up the next day with a sore crotch and blood on his pants.

“I met a girl at the bar and then we went to the sauna in a taxi. I remember that I had a beer and do not remember any more,” he said.

When he got to the hospital, doctors told him his testicles had been “skilfully” removed.

Russian police believe the actor, now working as a children’s animater, was targeted by a criminal gang selling organs on the black market. They added his drink was spiked.

Surgeons say the culprit had surgical training as the skin was cauterised and it was a clean cut.

Too embarrassed at first to reveal what happened, Nikolaev told his wife he had to have emergency surgery due to a sudden serious illness, The Mirror (http://www.mirror.co.uk/news/world-news ... ry-5234720) reports.

A married TV actor who met a young woman and kissed her in a sauna woke up to find his testicles had been stolen.

Dmitry Nikolaev, 30, is believed to be the target of a gang – including a doctor – which may be harvesting organs to sell on the black market.

Nikolaev had a drink with a young blonde woman he met at a bar in a Moscow theatre before she invited him to a sauna, reports MailOnline (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article ... ckers.html).

A police source told the website: ‘They kissed and had some more beer and after that the actor remembers nothing.’ They believe Nikolaev’s drink was spiked.

He woke up the next day at a bus stop in acute pain and noticed blood on his trousers.

At the hospital staff told him that his testicles had been removed and that it appeared the operation had been done by a medical professional.

Police believe the gang is stealing human organs to sell on the black market.

Stealing organs for the black market?

That's one "unusual" black market.

We can only hope these "organ thieves" run into Putin.

What can you do with testicles, you cannot even re-attach to the original owner with much success so they are not a donor organ of any use in the usual manner of say a kidney? Story is very odd in this. Maybe he just had himself castrated and made this up for the wife.

Guy meets hot blonde that tricks him into loosing his balls, seems like a story straight from the fiction archive...

And the organ stealing doesn't make much sense. Perhaps someone wanted him castrated, a past lover, his wife even?

There's no reason to steal them, here are so many they would spend the testis gratis.

These stories of a stranger castrating like this are almost always just a cover story. He's a children's animator which is not the most masculine of professions. He probably just has gender identity issue And got castrated and made up a more macho story to tell his wife other than "I don't like having testicles". Note how his original story to his wife was that there was some sort of emergency medical problem.

Also the organ thieves makes no sense as they steal organs for transplants.

If I could find a lady who could perform a skilled penectomy, I'd gladly buy her a drink.

What about them being used as an aphrodisiac or for black magic/voodoo (though not as likely in non-third world places)?

This is very likely just a cover story. Today it is easy to get a castration done in Russia as you can buy every medical service you can imagine. Surgeons there are skilled, but get low wages. So they are willing to do something extra if pay well.
