Storm of the Century
I just sat thru Storm of the Century. I swear it had to be one of the most depressing movies I have ever seen.

Re: Storm of the Century
Is it one of those movies where it takes 4 hours to tell a story that in actual life takes 10 minutes and at the end the hero dies?
Did I just give a spoiler?

Re: Storm of the Century
I watched "Storm of the Century," and I liked it very much, just as I also liked the made for TV version of "Needful Things." You have to know that when the movie is based on a Steven King novel, it is going to be filled with gruesome and awful things.... The only Steven King movie I really HATED was "Maximum Overdrive."
So sorry that you did not like "Storm..." movie Mac, I really did like it but I will concede that the good guys lost in that movie, and in real life evil triumphs quite often. In the Storm story, the super long lived parasitic vampire like creature wins, the good guy loses his son, and NO, the cavalry does NOT arrive in time to save the day, evil triumphs. Evil often does win, that is very depressing.
