I've learned as an intact male that even though I've desired castration since I was a small boy, I haven't been ready for castration until now, approaching middle age, never married or had kids, I was never all that into sex and now I'm ready to say goodbye to that side of me, since I'm ready now my thinking is this, I know either way I'll undergo mental tests and therapy but after all these years of wanting the lot removed I'm pretty sure I'm not just in fantasy and I'd like to face it as a eunuch, I'm thinking of cutting off the blood flow to my testicles for 24/48hrs depending on my mileage then going to the e.r. and saying me n my partner fell asleep during a sex game, bear in mind I'm in the uk and have a free health service, I don't plan on any self cutting, just to kill them and the scrotal tissue so surgery is the only option

Please explore every other option first. My hubby lost his penis using a similar ruse and got a stern lecture from the doctor at the ER about the risk we'd taken with his life. It could have been fatal. Besides that, others here on EA who've tried that approach have reported that the pain was so intense (after a few hours if I remember right) that they abandoned the approach before it resulted in permanent damage. Finally, my hubby has spermatoceles in his scrotum from banding his testicles, even though we were just playing around and not actually going for castration. If you give up before the testicles die, you may have permanent damage to deal with. Please, please, please try finding a different way.

Thanks for the concern sandi, I don't plan on removing the bands at all, the surgeon can deal with that when he takes my nuts

Sandi is correct. Most people, if not all people, cannot take the pain involved. Even drugs and drinking didn't stop the pain for many.

Be careful; you are not a lamb for the elastrator. The lamb's a baby and soon seems to forget the band; not the same with an adult.

Pain can be expected to be major, and the testicles probably won't be absolutely dead until after many hours.

-But you're right, they will die in the end, and you'll need the hospital, and they'll probably label you a lunatic. Be careful.

Alternately, you could go to a therapist that deals with transgender issues, explain your long held desire to be a eunuch, self identify as a Male to Eunuch (MtE), then get a letter supporting surgery to align your physical body with your neutral gender. Your official diagnosis will be Unspecified Gender Dysphoria. I know, you are a man, and you wish to remain a man, you don't consider yourself transgender, but for the interim this is what we have to do... Identify ourselves as Male to Eunuch (MtE) transgender so we can reach our long held desires to rid ourselves of our balls and/or cocks so we can be comfortable in our bodies.

You'd be surprised. Doctors are now coming online that are willing to help, but will require that letter.

I tried banding - didn't work and hurt like H***! They will just cut the bands off and send you to the funny farm. Not a good idea.

Losethem is right, maybe you should get some councilling, I did after my failed attempt to castrate myself and it has helped me a great deal. It has done nothing to change my mind about wanting to have my male bits removed, but I am approaching it in a more careful and considered way.

I am in the UK and I would be happy to pass on the details of the Councillor I used (PM me). She is very good and her rates are pretty reasonable. Sometimes having some objectivity is a good thing.

I know very well the lifetime desperation of this journey. Please be careful and don't do this alone.
