12 Monkeys

was once a movie by Terry Gilliam staring Bruce Willis and Brad Pitt and too many other stars for the good of the movie.

It was an enigmatic story in which weird things happened around a plague and time travel. The most I remember from that series is giraffes and filth and more filthiness and a bus ride. Memorable movie (Sarcasm alert on those last two words)

The plot is that from 2047, a man is sent back in time to 2015 to stop a plague that whites out 7 billion people and leaves almost no one living.

SyFy (a channel I tend to crap on a lot) remade it into a 10 week series.

It started out good.

It already twisted its plot.

I'm not sure what the rest is going to be but the series after one episode is going to get a second episode, tomorrow.
