Denervation of the spermatic cords and epididimemectomy are a couple of other things that can be tried prior to orchiectomy.

Other then a life long desire to be castrated I also experienced lots of pain, it was like being kicked in the groin several times a day. I have for the most part been pain free for 12 years after being castrated.

I had the same problem and in the end I just had them out. I have been totally pain free since then. If you are worried about your sex life after you have been castrated, HRT will solve this problem and if you want to father children, you can bank sperm so your wife/partner can be artificially inseminated.

Been there and done the pain thing. A doc would rather cut his own off before cutting another's. I guess their peer pressure is so great that there is a limit to how much they can do without losing referrals and professional standing. Eventually, after many years an orchie was done, to great relief. Despite warnings to the contrary, I feel well on HRT, now also after a long time. No, none of the medicines did any good and repeated ultrasounds were uncomfortable and despite showing abnormality, were not persuasive. I guess there are still a very few brave docs who will do the needful...

I am scheduled for 0600 tomorrow to have a bi-lateral testicle removal.

It has taken about 3 years and 2 liters of everclear to get to this point

I complained to my urologist about a year ago and he told me to see my PCP

The PCP said I had an infection and he gave me some antibiotics, which of course

I knew what was going on.

I had a routine appointment with my Endocrinologist who has me on TRT. He told me

to see my Urologist which I did. I complained of them being hard, achy all the time ( like I got kneed

in the nuts), Having sharp stabbing that radiate up to my upper groin. He sent me for an ultrasound

which was very pleasant, as a hot looking guy fondled them for about 30 minutes.

The US showed a mass in both of them. The urologist said he was going to do a biopsy. We talked about

it for a while and he finally agreed that complete removal through the groin should relieve my pain.

I agreed and it will happen tomorrow👏

I see on your profile that our birthdays are within a few months of each other. For some reason it always makes me happy to see guys our age get something they've wanted for a long time. You must be delighted. Congratulations! What a great Christmas present for you. Merry Christmas and best wishes for a happy life as a eunuch.

. I have been complaining to my PCP about pain in my testes and he said it was an inflammation of my cord and he gave me antibiotics, that did not help.

Fast forward 8 months, I talked to my VA PCP and at least she did a physical exam, and told me she would make a referral to a VA urologist. That never happened!

I had a routine follow up with my endro Doc and he felt them and commented that they very hard and to see my urologist. I happened to have an appointment with him the very next day.

He too said they were very hard and sent me for an ultrasound. That showed an area in each testicle that had no blood flow. Then he sent me for a CT Scan and that showed the same thing.

All this time they were hurting so bad that I could not even stand or sit for even 15 minutes at a time.

So back to the urologist. He said he wanted to do a biopsy, but he could not do it through the scrotum because that would contaminate the test. The only way he could do it was through an incision in my groin. I knew that entailed removing it ( them ) , taking his sample and replacing them in my sack.

I told him that I was well past the age of wanting children, that I had a vasectomy years ago, and that I was already taking testosterone shots, so just remove them. He agreed, and on Dec. 23rd he did the deed.

He called me today and asked how I was doing. I told him I had a lot of swelling in my scrotum and at the tissue surrounding my penis

I have an appointment to see him on the 7 th to have the staples removed. He said there was no cancer but a lot of

necropsy in each one. He said he was thankful that we decided to remove them before they turned to gangrene .

So all I have to do is recover from the pain from surgery. It feels like I got stomped in the nuts by a guy wearing steel combat boots.

So I will recover from this pain and then figure how to get him to finish the job by removing the scrotum.
