The boy is receiving treatment in the hospital.

According to the boy, he irritated his uncle's girlfriend by trying to use her cell phone to play music when she was in the bathroom. The boy's mother was helping a relative harvest corn when the tragedy happened.

The family immediately rushed the boy to a hospital in the provincial capital of Zhengzhou. He received a six-hour operation to reconnect his penis, and was then sent to a Beijing hospital for further treatment.
