Amazing Balls

Congratulations testicles, you make more unique proteins than any other tissue in the body.
The proteins in our cells and tissues are responsible for everything from repair and maintenance to the production of signalling chemicals. You might expect that the brain, being our most sophisticated organ, would produce the widest array of proteins. But while the brain hosts 318 unique proteins that we know of, testicles are home to 999.
It is one of the surprising messages from the latest, most comprehensive version of the Human Protein Atlas "proteome" an inventory of all the proteins produced in the human body.
Launched this week on the website
www.proteinatlas.org (
http://www.proteinatlas.org), the atlas represents a decade of work in13 laboratories, led by Mathias Uhlén of the Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden.
Many of the proteins found in testicles are involved in the type of cell division that produces sperm, says Uhlén. He says egg-making ovaries may well have a similar number, but eggs are made inside fetuses, so he will not be testing this theory.

I was just listening to the science program Kennis van Nu (Knowledge of Now) on NPO 5 ( Nederlandse Publieke Omroep Radio 5) where this was an item. It is an answer to my question in a thread "what do testicles produce beside sperm and testosterone?" I have for a long time the feeling (intuition) that testicles do much more that just those stuffs. I believe erikboy was one of the members who confirmed that, but can't remember his exact answer, there was also someone else. This intuition is part of my hesitation for a castration.

No one has added to this interesting thread for a while, so I guess I'll jump in and try to add something worthwhile. Who knew our balls were so complex, miraculous, and amazing in this new way?
I agree with tjstill for real. I think a lot more of a man's emotions, temper, drive, character, personality, and his daily actions originate straight from inside his balls than anyone would imagine or want to admit. I bet a lot of eunuchs would agree. Maybe that's why so many of the men here on EA have such a strong desire to have them changed, turned off, or cut off. They can sense and experience all those giant influences and controls.
Going way back in history people have known how different any man, or most other animals can be made by doing a simple and primitive castration. People understood how important balls were to all male animals. They also knew how surprisingly simple and effective wide spread testicle removal was in controlling defeated men after wars or for easier enslavement. I think that' has been common knowledge among ancient people for lost ages going way back in time.
Only modern equality ideals and thinking seem to want to claim that men and women are not very different from each other. That's not true in most of nature and in most animals. Humans are animals and built and function like animals in all biological senses. Testicles make a huge difference in so many ways in any animal they gloriously hang and swing from. Why not in men too? How are we so different than any other male animals?
Most societies down through history have openly acknowledged very significant differences between men and women. Not necessarily inferior or superior, but clearly very different. We should celebrate these differences and enjoy them. I'm sure studying ovaries will bring amazing discoveries and insight into women too.
Some men really enjoy the influences and effects of their balls on them and some men don't. There's also a huge variety of all varying degrees across that wide range of like or dislike too. This site is so great because people here openly admit and discuss this huge range of feelings, desires, and reactions toward men's balls and dicks.
