Could Castration producing a sick appearance? could produce anaemia and low defenses?

As many of you know I´ve been on chemical castration since one month and eightten days ago.

My changes:

Low desires.

Very Rare spontaneous erections

rare and weak morning erection

Masturbation about once a week, Negligible sperm.

Less muscular mass, strenght and energy.

A certain fat accumulation in breast, buttocks, legs and lower belly. but think I haven´t gained weight

Agression diminished

Fortunately not depression.

I´ve been eating well and still doing my walking hour. Bloodwork has come good. I feel well but some weak.

However my partner said me that I look like Ill and weary. And said that seems I get a debilitating disease. I have lost considerable muscular weight and some nights I don´t sleep well while others I do. I supousse these things have given me a sick appearance. I want to tell him about my chemical castration but words don´t come easy when I´m facing him. He shows a paternalistic behaviour to me sometimes (he´s several years older than me) so I´m affraid that he´s scolding me. Our relationship has a certain father-son type. He always have respected my decisions though, and I don´t want let his mind on wrong things .

my mother says that I look some haggard and weak. My body appearance is normal for her.

Friends think the same and dont think I´ve lost weight. They say that only my face looks like sick and that my body is slim but ok.

Castration routine: 12.5mg cyproterone daily. Two depo injections (300mg) one month and eightten days ago . Both started almost at the same time.

Is possible that changes Ive commented, can be produced so fast (about two months)?

on such a low doses?

Can castration produce anaemia and low defenses?

How long once castration is started, could anaemia and low defenses being apparent?

Has your friends/partners or relatives said that you looks like ill ,weak or sick after have started your castration(physical or chemical)?

Freddyde I think you mite need a multivitamin/multimineral like Centrum. It wont hert. Ernie

Men in general are a little darker for their genes besides baldness, beardedness, and body hair than women and eunuchs, so if someone recently becomes a eunuch this could effect their coloration. Or it could be due to age. I know a lot of Hispanics that lighten up at about forty years or so. That's called vitiligo. I think it affects women (and eunuchs) more than men. Michael Jackson had one form of it most noticeable in his hand but it's usually more generalized where the skin gradually lightens up.

A friend said tha I look paler. Upper body is where I have lost more muscle. I have sleeping troubles. I used to sleep about 8 hour. now, about 9 or 10. At the first hours of night I have a deep sleep. But later sleep is lighter. I wake up about two or three times all night long, and I can remember my dreams in detail and frequently Have nightmares.

I´m drowsy at daytime. I think I need some vitamins indeed

Maybe, you should stop taking the drugs. They are often side effects to any drugs. Do you know what they are doing to your liver? Are the castration effects worth ruining your health? DIY medication often has undesired effects on one's health.

Yes you´re right.

These drugs have many side effects. Self-medication is not a good think. And is known for everybody that doing it is under one-self responsibility. For years I have been done an exhaustive research about castration cases and drugs related with. In despite of this We are not doctors no matter how thorough research about antiandrogens we have done . Nothing could ever replace a personalized and well directed medical treatment whatever´s the condition.

Also we all are differents and the drugs will show different effects in every one

If had the tinniest support and chances for us transgender people where I live I would have no doubt in seizing longer before.

Thanks God recent liver test and bloodwork is ok. My general health is ok. Only sleeping troubles and some weakness is affecting me.

At this point the question appear to be now: If anyone have had this sides with castration?

I apprecciate my life and I really love to live just being myself, and although my general health state is good I´ll be watching my bloodworks and contacting to a doctor.

I took dutasteride for a several years. I liked the effects, but I developed back trouble and wasn't able to sit for long at a time. While I can't be sure that the dutasteride was causing my problems, most of those problems have disappeared since I stopped taking it about a year ago. While it didn't particularly decrease my testosterone levels, it drastically reduced my free testosterone. Since going off it, that has improved.
