I've been speaking with an SRS physician, Dr. Harold Reed this week about the possibility of having penile inversion surgery while remaining male. He is open to performing this surgery so long as I have two letters from mental health therapists. He has said in his blog that he receives about one letter a week from men who want this modification. The blog entry about this topic was entered in 2010, and as of that year, he hadn't operated on anyone with this condition, so I'm not sure if he has since then, but I aspire to be the first if he hasn't. Its important to me that I undergo this modification without coning my way through therapy. I want to have this operation done by an experienced doctor in the US and as a male. I feel that if I'm able to do this, it would be a door opened to other guys who want this modification without having to pretend to be transgender. I'm curious about how many are interested in this operation and about whether or not I could make a website similar to eunuch.org but for those who specifically have this condition, or if eunuch.org could make a forum for those with this condition.

So I'm not sure if Dr. Reed is serious about his willingness to do this operation so long as I undergo a psychiatric evaluation in keeping with the Benjamin Standards of Care, but my next task is to find two therapists who can understand my situation and who can either talk me out of going through with this by helping me to address some underlying problems that lead me to desiring this modification, or giving the go-ahead to undergo the operation.

And just so whoever reads this understands my situation, I'm a masculine male who loves to work out, I have a blue-collar job and am 28 years old, and I want a vagina. I would like to have all the operations to make it as much like a biological vagina as possible.

I just wanted to share this information to inform anyone interested that there is someone who is making progress in having this done.

Let me see if I understand you correctly, you wish for the testicles and penis to be removed and a vagina built in its place, is this correct? I take it you don't want what would be considered a sex change, as in you still wish to be an outward looking male who happens to have a vagina in stead of a penis. Now the next question, would you be taking HRT, T or E or neither?
