Keep getting error message that says " Flash policy problem. If you are the server owner, please read http://redmine.lightirc.com/projects/li ... structions. You need to install a flash policy daemon at eamain.hopto.org (port 843)". Haven't been able to enter chat for several weeks.

Unfortunately, there is something going on with the DDNS, or with the server at my end, I'm not sure. The chatroom is up, and most people seem to be able to access it, but there's a handful who are getting that message, and not getting through to eamain.hopto.org. I am working on it, but I'm running out of ideas to try to see if I can figure out what's going on. I am working on it though, attempting to see what's going on.

I also receive same message now end then but if I keep trying, I am finally able to access the chat room. I wonder if this computer related, I am on Mac.

Oddly enough, and it might be a Windows 7 thing, I can't access the Java based version, but have no problems with the Flash version.

Has anyone else had a problem with IRC chatting on an iPad? Using the latest eamain.hopto.org:7000 I get no response from the hopto server when using two different IRC apps for the IPad. When using the old darkstar server there were no problems.

Problem solved ... I found out the problem was with the IRC apps I was using. Mango crashes with iOS 8 and both Dump Chat and IRC999 did not connect for some reason. Was fixed when I switched to LimeChat.

I can't access either! I miss my friends there
