Depo provera or androcur users tell me your experiences

Post by Frida G Cavic (imported) »

Hi everyone. Im new here, Ive took androcur for four months from january to april at 12.5mg per day doses, results: lower sex drive but not stopping erections completely and still masturbate sometimes once a day or sometimes three or two times per week.

I only want to low my sex drive and urges I like the feelin calm from having low T, but I dont like the weight gain, gynecomastia and that my blood presure have rised a little (suspect caused by cyproterone water retention effect) has been almost four month I stop androcur, but my sex drive is come back and I really hate this sex urges because I dont consider myself like a male or a female although I like looking more feminine and I liked have some feminine features caused by androcur.

I want experimented again the low T, and a little research in the net I learn Depo-provera could be a good and cheap choice for low T. Question here. In your experience which is the best for the purpose to diminish your libido, urges, and erections without developing gynecomastia and gain weight?? I want to try Depo-Provera although Im worrying about if this drug could cause more gynecomastia than androcur and produce more weight gain than It. With androcur I had no gynecomastia but I gained much weight and my apetite increased.

Im plannig Inject one Depo-Provera 150mg dose every month starting on september. Dou you think that dose would be enough in order to low libido, feeling calm and diminish sex urges without gain weight and develop no gynecomastia? I would appreciate any coment from everyone who has experimented with androcur or depo and tell me what is the best for you in this context.....I dont mind masturbate three or two times a week but I really hate doing three times a day and dont like have this ugly erections mornings.:):):):):):):):

Hi,

I feel your pain, I have never tried androcur but was considering it, however after reading your post I don't think I will.

I have used Depo for me I use 2x150mg then top up every 3 weeks. Depo does work, it defo lowers my sex drive when alone and I rarely wake with erections. The annoyance is that I still get hard when my master is around and that is what we wanted to stop as well but either way he knows when I'm not at home I'm unable to please myself.

The one issue with depo in my experience is that after a dose it takes 2 weeks for effects to start and then if u miss your next date by a week the damage is done and you need to wait 2 weeks for the effects again...must be flushed from the system quickly!!

The first few days you will feel tired and moody I guess this is the levels changing the only downsides I have is my sleep is affected I sleep for 5 hours instead of my usual 8 and whilst I haven't gained weight I haven't had the motivation to loose it.

Within myself I feel calmer and have become more focused on being submissive and we'll behaved to my man.

Hope this helps

The problem with all these drugs/hormones is that we respond differently.

I have used both androcaur and depo provera, but combined with estrogen as I wanted the feminisation effects.

What I found with depro provera is that my breast tissue got fuller and more rounded. It is often used in conjunction with estrogen for this very effect.

What would help you is know what your hormone levels are. if you have a naturally very high T level this may be why it is not that effective.

When used in the chemical castration of sex offenders it is administered once every week or 2. It takes more to be effective in men.

For me because I had lowered my T level by alcohol & calcium Chloride injections it has been very effective in killing what T was left and in aiding breast growth,

The other thing is that depending on your metabolism you may be prone to breast growth with low T than someone else.

We are all different!

Bodybuilders use antiestrogens (which block estrogen) and aromatose inhibitors (which stop production of estrogen) to prevent gynocomastia. I forget the names, I'll edit with links when I'm not on a phone. I know a few people here have experience with them but you may be better asking on a forum where they're more widely used.

Thanks for your reply , I just want to say that I took a quarter pill (12.5mg) daily

of androcur for money reasons and still reduce my libido pretty much.

But at the end of the treatement (four months) my libido fall down very much. It was more a matter of time than a quantity, in other words an accumulative effect.

The last year I took 25mg a day and works better, the more doses you take the better It works, and the sides effects

increase slightly too. Another Depo user? Another opinion out here?? even dont mind a mild gynecomastia and the day of my first depo provera shot is closer probably next week

I took cyproterone acetate and in a few months I felt that I was chemically castrated. I did not notice any difference later when I had myself surgically castrated...very smooth transition.

Actually androcur was great for me, but I can´t afford for that. Due to my financial situation such a expense is absolutely inadmissible. Forget the prescription in my country is easily available thecnically over the counter. Don´t know how I would love try androcur once again, Unfortunately I was in need to searching for an accesible option. Then I learn about Depo-Provera. I just really hope It´s being as very effective as androcur.
