THE WORLD'S END
a movie with Simon Pegg, Nick Frost, Paddy Considine, Martin Freeman, Pierce Brosnan and Eddie Marsan.
It is supposed to be about 5 friends who years after leaving each other get together to complete the pub crawl of their youthful dreams - 12 pubs and 12 pints - it was interrupted on the day they separated and never having finished - SIMON PEGG the total drunk of the group - wants to do it all again.
that was hopefully not too incoherent.
The pub names are really funny. . .
It turns out that the old town is now occupied by alien robots and things get hairy as they keep drinking and keep fighting the aliens.
In the end, the aliens leave and you understand what the descriptive voice-over is all about.
I found the movie funny, outlandish and that included the scenes before in the men's rooms. Hey bladders aren't 12 pints big.
I also found the ending not-satisfying and not inventive enough.
Simon Pegg has such fun hits, I think he should have done better.
