Hey folks, a bit of a general question here, but I was wondering how well a eunuch could be expected to perform physically after the change? I don't mean world-class athletics or anything, but an active lifestyle and physical career field? I've been fixing telecom equipment on top of transmission towers since I was 18 (2 years), and while it can take the wind out of you, I enjoy doing it. I also enjoy running a few times a week, and would like to keep up with that.

With HRT, this should all be able to continue with minimal "hiccups," correct?

With HRT you'll continue to function as you do now other than you won't have balls and you'll be sterile.

It has taken me quite a few months to get to a dose of testosterone that is acceptable for me. I still experience weakness in my arms and shoulders, I can do so much and then feel all the strength drain from them, I used to swim a mile a day with ease, so was in good physical condition, I can no longer do this everyday. I also get tired more quickly and at times feel like I have no energy at all, some days I feel like it isn't working at all.

Trouble is if I use too much I have an erection all night which is not as pleasant as it sounds because I don't feel horny and masturbating does not get rid of it, not enough and I have no energy and no sexual desire. It is a very fine line for me.

I use a gel, Testogel as I had a bad reaction to one brand so am not given injections in case it happens again. So for me it isn't as easy as putting it on and being like before when I made it myself, it is a price I am willing to pay though and I also did over a year without any testosterone when I was on chems which was truly awful for me so the testosterone I now have is much better than that. I guess everyone's experience will be different, some will be fine and others will struggle like me to get the right balance.

As a lifelong user of HRT, I can assure you that for most there is little difference in physical performance with correct dosing. I have worked in the construction trades all my life, and now at 55 have more energy than many guys younger than me. I have maintained my shape, (thanks to good genes and plenty of physical exercise) and find that while my intact friends are complaining about weaker sexual performance is becoming an issue, that is not the case for me.

Libido for a eunuch on T is different than for intact males. Those I know all agree that the urgency to orgasm is changed, and it is possible to simply turn it off. I personally find that the real desire now is for the sensations produced by a sexual experience, not so much the orgasm. Physical contact with another warm body is very fulfilling.

As for working, and stamina, these days I am the estate manager for a 24,000 square foot mansion, and oversee all aspects of the property. That gives me some of the duties of a butler, as well as working to maintain the 87 year old property. I also have the extra energy to care for my 55 year old wooden boat, my own home, and regular visits to the gym. I don't feel that I even marginally am showing the fade in strength that many complain of both from aging and from being a eunuch.

As with all things your mileage may vary , so proceed with caution in whatever you do.

This has been my observation too since becoming a eunuch. My sex drive is different, even using HRT. I seem to inherently want to have physical contact with a woman, while not necessarily having sex with her. I now want to satisfy my partner more so than I seek sexual gratification for myself.

Studies of castrated males show that although a considerable percentage of eunuchs can perform sexually to various degrees, libido is almost always either significantly reduced or eliminated, even when using HRT. The length of time since one has been castrated and the age of the eunuch also are factors in affecting performance and drive.

My physical strength/stamina are about half the level now compared to before castration. As has been said your age at castration and your current age seem at be factors in your result. I was castrated at age 62 and I am now 69. Also I have not always taken HRT and this may also enter into the equation that predicts your results. I too have noticed that HRT effects are much different than the effects of your body's own hormones. So, we are back to the inevitable conclusion that "your mileage may vary". --FLO--

I must show my penis those studies it doesnt have the message it still has a mind of its own despite having no balls especially on hrt, but I have been castrated for less than a year so who knows what the future will hold.
