ICATH faster for Rx, than traditional clinics? (My situation so far.)

Hello, I've been chemically castrated for a few months at this point and it's been simply awesome. However, I've had to quit self medicating as it was a chunk of money each month and I'm trying to move from FLA to WA state in a few months. I've got an appointment with a HRT sympathetic doctor in Florida in late July. However I was warned by my gender shrink she's "old-school" and may not even feel comfortable giving me a prescription because I ain't a M - F. Aside from that I hear it takes about 3 months to land an actual script in the first place, according to most trans persons I talk to. Is it different in the case of just taking t-blockers, as to how fast they may prescribe you? I imagine it might be because we don't have to worry about fem medications. Anyway, I've heard from some trans folks that a ICATH clinic usually works faster and sometimes will give you a Rx on the first visit, if I can't get my script before I move, there's a ICATH supportive clinic right next to were I'd be living. Anybody have any personal experience with something like this, what should I expect?
