Does it need prescription to have them? I have read there are types of Birth control pills which can be obtained without prescription.

Birth control pills would not castrate you. The dose on an intact male, to have the effect would need to be rather high.

The only birth control pill I know, that can be used for this - "Diane", also contains low dose of antiandrogen. But compare 2mg of cyproterone acetate in it, and daily dose of 50mg to achieve castration levels, and taking it would probably be infeasible.

Try all day chemist and do research on what you want to achieve and how to achieve it or go see a doc.

Estrogen will feminize and will reduce your fertility. The effects very greatly, one person reported atrophy of the testicles but he was taking estrogen for years to feminize.

Please consult a professional endocrinologist before taking estrogen. There is an awful lot of very bad and misguided advise out there (and here). The circus just doesn't need any more bald, bearded and hairy women with big breasts anymore.
