So lately I have been thinking about trying DHEA as a possible solution for some of the unwanted effects of castration. Has anyone here (especially eunuchs who are not taking HRT) experimented with it? If so, what effects did you notice? How did you feel about the effects?
I have never had my levels tested, but my DHEA is probably normal at my age. Would it be harmful to take it with normal levels?
From what I understand there are different types of DHEA available as well as different methods of delivery. Which of these works best?

I have been taking 50mg of DHEA daily, prior to my castration, when my T level was very low, and afterwards. It seems to give me a boost of energy that keeps me going throughout the day. I do not have any of the typical effects of low T, despite my low supplemental dosage, except a significant loss of libido and muscle aches. Whether or not the DHEA helps, I can't say.

I tried it and became very aggressive. Someone had suggested it so I tried it. I was ready to do war on the roadways. I am still a bit aggressive while driving but then I was like Mad Max driving around apocalyptic earth. Of course I struggle with this sense of frustration and powerlessness from all that has happened in my life. Add DHEA and the sleeper has awakened. I am not exactly sure why it was such a bad choice for me. Of course I had been a eunuch for many years at that time so maybe it was a shock to my system.
