Penis Length

A new study out from academics at the Kinsey Institute surveyed the length of the fully erect penises of 1,661 men. This was then "sliced and diced" (the numbers, not the penises) to find various statistical averages. The 1,661 penises were all (theoretically) as erect as possible in order to measure the maximum length they could attain.
Below are some of the findings of the report with both the length in centimeters (as reported in the article) and converted to inches so that those of you living in backward (non-metric) countries won't need to run your own conversions.
The average erect penis length for the 1,661 men was 14.15 cm (5.57 inches) with a range from 4 cm (1.57 inches) to 26 cm (10.24 inches) – one person at each extreme. 141 of the men (8.5%) had erect penises less than 4 inches long (10 cm or less). 37 of the men (2.2%) had erect penises 7.5 inches long or longer (20 cm or more).
The youngest men, ages 18 to 23, had the shortest average penis – 14.05 cm (5.53 inches) and the oldest group, ages 60+ had the longest – 14.63 cm (5.76 inches) – though there were only 9 men in the oldest group and 753 in the youngest.
By ethnic group, the American Indians had the shortest average – 12.86 cm (5.06 inches) with a sample size of 14. White/Caucasians averaged 14.18 cm (5.58 inches) with a sample size of 1,475. Black/African Americans had the longest average length at 14.66 cm (5.77 inches) with a sample size of 38. (The survey was done in southern Indiana!)
By sexual orientation, Heterosexual/Straight had the longest average length – 14.16 cm (5.57 inches); Bisexuals came in at 14.33 cm (5.64 inches); and, contrary to popular opinion, Gay/Homosexual men had the shortest average penis length in the survey – 13.99 cm (5.51 inches).
This large study should bring some reality to statements about penis length. The article also gave full details on circumference for anyone who wants to read the article.
