I am not looking for myself, I was castrated by Dr. Spector in Philadelphia in 1997. But I thought there was a cutter who replaced Spector in Phillie when he retired. From time to time I get asked how/where to get it done, but the only name I have know is Arnkoff. Any help would be appreciated.

Dr Murray Kimmel took over after Spector was forced by license forfeiture to retire. When Kimmel himself turned 70, his license expired and he dropped from sight, presumably to retire. Arnkoff is the only practicing surgeon to openly perform castrations on demand that we are aware of now.

You have to ask, there are Urologists out there that will do it. Milwaukee Tom went to a Urologist here in Milwaukee and was castrated in a proper hospital setting and his health insurance paid for it. Clysmaniac was castrated by a different Urologist in a proper hospital setting here in Milwaukee and his health insurance paid for it.. So there is Doctors out there that will do it. You have to ask. After all what does it hurt to ask anyways. They can say no if they want.. Or they can say yes.

Over the years we have had lots of people who claimed to be cutters, but when you pinned them down and quizzed they, it was all talk and they had really done nothing.

Best advise. Ask your Doctor. Again the worst they can say is No.

I saw this doing some research.

www.neumale.com

www.NeuMale.com

This web site was developed to make the standard male aware of an available procedure for those interested in achieving an alternative persona. Men often find that many of their regular work and recreational activities are disrupted or diminished by recurring thoughts of sexual activity or unwanted urges which cannot be satisfied during these activities. As a solution we have a procedure offered here called Orchiectomy, often referred to as Castration. This permanent surgical solution is achieved by removal of the testes. This is the most common procedure I perform at this time on standard males to provide them the lifestyle adjustment they want to control their sexual obsessions and in many cases just to allow them to have a more calm and stable way of life as an alternative male. Some standard males may seek temporary relief with medications to evaluate the benefits before Orchiectomy. While not appropriate for everyone, if you think Orchiectomy can help you achieve your desired objectives, we will be happy to discuss any goals or related questions you may have about the procedure, which is performed in a local hospital as an outpatient under general anesthesia.

While an Orchiectomy will provide the lifestyle changes listed above, there are possible side effects such as reduced muscles strength or acquiring some feminine physical traits such as body hair loss that can occur. However, each neutered male will have his unique experience. We can discuss the possibilities with you prior to your commitment. Patients who would like to be castrated can contact my office for more information and cost of the procedure.

Before we can schedule your procedure, you need to write me a letter explaining why you are asking to have an Orchiectomy. In that letter, you must to be honest and truthful. I need to be convinced that your desire is sincere in order to perform your surgery.

Male-to-Female (MTF) Procedures

Orchiectomy (Castration)- Most common procedure I perform at this time from this site . Orchiectomy is the removal of the testicles. The penis and the scrotum are left intact. Orchiectomy is done as an outpatient procedure and patients can expect to return to regular activities in 1 or 2 weeks. Orchiectomy is done to stop most of the body's production of testosterone which prostate cancer needs in order to grow. Orchiectomy causes sudden hormone changes in the body and side effects from those changes are, sterility, loss of sexual interest, erection problems, hot flashes, larger breasts ( gynecomastia), weight gain, loss of muscle mass and thin or brittle bones ( osteoporosis). Patients who would like to be castrated ( Eunuch) can contact my office at 770-951-7595 for more information and cost of the procedure.

Before you have your procedure, you must write me a letter explaining why you are asking to have Orchiectomy. In that letter, you must be honest and truthful. If I am not convienced, then your surgery will be refused.

Also refer to the links below to get an idea about the risks and complications of Orchiectomy that you need to know for the letter.

Please feel free to post other public sites. The more information and resources available, the better. Thanks for this.

Sherry (3rd reference) is a long time member of the archive, and still is so. She also has been to one of the MoM's, and we all found he to be a personable and gentle soul.

Interesting. I took a quick look at this site, but didn't see any mention of fees? Well found, geoffrey!

Will second Kristoff's comment. I was there the year that Sherry came. She is a wonderful lady.

It's been a couple of years and I didn't really pay much attention to the information after I found out what the anticipated charges would be from Dr. Fara. IIRC it runs near $5,000.00 including his fee and the hospital he uses for the procedure. I found several experience reports and I think some of those are on the website mentioned above and those all seem to be favorable.

While it might have been nice to be "out" with the general anesthetic, the local used by Dr. Arnkoff on me wasn't bad and recovering from the general takes some time and trust me, it ain't no fun. There are also other risks associated with using a general anesthetic which are not seen with a local anesthetic...

Basically for me it was a question of total cost. At that time Dr. Arnkoff was charging $2000.00. My travel expenses with airlines, rental car, hotel and meals for the three days ran close to $1000.00. So with that in mind, Dr. Fara would have cost me twice what it did for Dr. Arnkoff and it took me a year to save that much. I also used that year to conduct a chemical castration trial to make sure that was what I wanted.

Last time I looked, a castration in Thailand goes for around $500 (that's both, not each) and the low-season round trip air is just over $1000. It seems that it all might be done for less than Dr A's new surgical fee alone. I'm wondering what extra one gets from Dr Fara, fine doc though he may be....

IMHO nutting a mammal safely requires a little care, but it is hardly premium-price rocket-science. These US prices are enough to encourage unsafe DIY and cutters. Do be careful!

Interestingly, Dr. Fara's website mentions he is no longer going GRS due to no hospital giving him permission. Anyone know the backstory to that? It seems that his orchiectomy business may be a response to no longer being able to practice the GRS.
