There is a remarkable and very popular dancer in China ( en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jin_Xing ) who started off male, though it is said that mother really wanted a girl, and ended up one, with a German husband and children she adopted herself. She's now mostly a choreographer and mother.

It is quite the story and inspiration for those on this journey. There's heaps about her if you search the web for her name with perhaps dancer or similar.

What does anyone think of her?

I'm Chinese and I've heard of her, I remember my mom making reference to her when I first came out. She's awesome. :]
