The only unexpected thing that I found was that blog comments and posts are mixed in "What's new" view, but that is, probably, tunable.

@Moi - go in the lower left corner, and you will see a theme selector. Choose "vB4 original" and you will get your blue color .

Yea, the "What's new" feature shows the activity stream not the new posts which is something we normally suppressed.
