The Walking Dead (season 4)
It's back... and just as gory as ever.
Zombies, zombies, everywhere.
Even falling through the ceiling like rain.
Now that was a neat stunt.

Yes,
IT just has got sooo gory...
Why is it that it is just not as fun as it used to be? (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sOnqjkJTMaA)
...yes, those were the days...
...Remember seeing Michael Landon in "I Was a Teenage Werewolf"?

There is no doubt about it:
THE WALKING DEAD is gory...
and the show's producers and writers try real hard to make this week's show something just as gory or gorier than last week's show.

Re: The Walking Dead (season 4)
This is definitely a program to watch from episode one.
Even this show, the opener of year 4, is cryptic if you don't know the previous history of the group and how they came to be at the prison.
That's one of the reasons I come back to watch this show. It is unabashedly gory in a way that makes me squirm. That is not what keeps me coming back... THE WALKING DEAD is all about the changes in people and society as the world is assaulted by a virus creating the zombies.
I've often wondered in these three seasons of the show who really are the "walking dead" and sometimes I think the zombies are not the "dead" the title speaks about. I can explain that and defend the position that Rick and the humans fleeing the zombie plague are the real "dead." They just don't know it yet.

Re: The Walking Dead (season 4)
The genre of the "Zombie" has underwent a change from the original concept. The 'evolution' has not been pretty and is in no way aligned with its roots in voodoo. A film that I prefer in the genre is The Serpent and the Rainbow (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0096071/).
Of course, every zombie might enjoy a piece of ass now and then...
...but mostly these Zombie movies are a chance for Hollywood makeup artists to showcase their skills...

Season 4 episode 2...
I once upon a time owned a revolver like Sheriff Rick loads and holsters at the end of this episode.
It is a fearsome gun. It chambers both 357 magnum or 38 special shells.
It's gorier than ever for those of you who are squeamish. Be warned.

Episode 4 is called "indifferent"
and let me say this …there ain't nothing or no one indifferent in this episode.

Episode 5 - "Internment"
The first 20 minutes of this episode are harrowing.
And the zombies are coming em-masse.
