I went to log in, and they demanded a real phone number to send me a code.

That was THAT.

It was also taking forever to get logged in and for their Outlook theme to load.

Google tries that regularly, but it still has the "ignore, and let me through" link.

The same pretext of "give me the phone" ended my account on one of the social networks (The facebook clone one. I was there almost since the beginning)

Ok, I can get a sim card, unassociated with me, and a phone with "dark" past, which never entered the cell network with my sim, but that looked like too much hassle.
