Well, we are now at 15 members and, hopefully, still growing. Despite a shaky start, it does seem apparent that there is an interest in the subject. It is a bit disappointing to me, however, that only one person (besides myself) has posted anything. A group is a group effort. Everyone in it should pitch a little something in, even if it is only to introduce yourself and let everyone else know why you think the topic is hot. Even if it is just "I don't know." This way we can get a general idea of what the audience likes in these stories. And we should be on a friendly basis as fellow group members, besides.

I've been combing this site's member profiles, and sending group invites out to those who seem (to me, at least) to have interests likely to overlap that of our group. Alas, most of these folks don't seem to be very active on this site, so it may take some time for them to even notice the invite (and respond to it, assuming that they are truly interested). If you've not gotten one, I either thought you'd probably not be interested, or I just haven't gotten to your profile, yet (the list is HUGE!). Of course, if you are interested, you don't need an invite to join. So don't wait for one that might never come. The more the merrier. And, right now, it's too damn quiet in there!

In the last four weeks, I have submitted 3 stories to the Archive. Being that there's no telling when you'll see them, I asked the group if anyone wanted to read any previews. Not one peep. No one said, "Yeah! Let's see 'em!" So I don't know what this indicates in terms of any real interest. Or perhaps the members are not checking in too often and reading the posts in there, I don't know.

I'm hoping things get livelier, assuming more folks join.
