Just name dropping movies

Just discovered:
1) BET is showing INVICTUS tonight on whatever you use for Cable TV.
It is Nelson Mandela's 95th birthday today.
2) In September the Japanese remake of Clint Eastwood's UNFORGIVEN will hit theaters in Japan in September. It will star Ken Watanabe in the lead role as the retired "gunfighter" and be set in Japan. Watanabe was introduced to American audiences in THE LAST SAMURAI and then the brilliant and heartbreaking LETTERS FROM IWO JIMA.
Think about this... Eastwood made his fame and fortune staring in the Italian remake of a Japanese - Yojimbo... Eastwood directed Watanabe in LETTERS ... and now gives his best film of recent times - UNFORGIVEN - over to a remake.
