>>Huffington Post has a Royal Baby Watch page:

>>It's seem that this birth will be historic in that regardless of a boy or girl being born, the child will be heir to the British Throne...

>>I wish this were the most serious thing we have to worry about and look forward to...

I care about this why?

All I know is that my only interaction with this particular family recently is that I was in Canada and noticed this baby's great-grandfather on the $20 bill.

The answer is -- you don't care. No one really does. It's all just fun.

But think about everything else you "care" about that is depressing and aggravating and disgusting or troubling...

Then think about a cute baby.

It's like all those Internet kitties-pictures and puppies-cams and other cute and adorable creatures.

A 7.5 pound bundle of joy on the news would be a chance to smile and feel good.

Actually, that would be the baby's grandmother.

(*looks at $20 Cad. Bill from pocket...)

Nevermind. I can see how you made that mistake. Sheesh! The old queen really let herself go. That, or the royal portrait guy really has it in for her.

Someone twittered (or tweeted) that his address (portrait guy) was listed as Room "D-3, Tower of London"

;)

I'm sorry, but I couldn't care less about a baby that will have everything handed to him/her just because he/she was born to the right parents.

Meanwhile, how many other equally valuable children will starve to death in the interim, or go without care or proper nutrition?

Actually, on 2nd thought, I'm not sorry. The whole royal parasitic family needs to be executed at once, or go out and get a job.

Actually they do all have a job. Their job is being the official greeters to GB, they are the calling card that brings in millions of dollars or pounds if you like. They also sponsor many charities raising money for them, yes they are rich, yes they live in castles, yes to all of that, however it is also a life in a gilded cage, there is nothing that they do or can do that is not public. Plus both the boys, William and Harry do have real jobs if you will, they are part of the military, that will end the moment the queen dies at least for William.

From birth through their entire lives everything as been planned for them, their life is not their own.

And yes its all about the baby watch.

Hasn't been a king or duke on Canadian currency since 1953.

Only if somehow they can bypass Charles. Can the Queen arrange that?

Actually Charles is the Queens favorite child and he adores her, remember beyond all other things that is still mother and son.

GB has forgiven Charles his missteps in life and he will be King when the Queen dies, unless of course she outlives him.
