Google searches now bring up lots of medical images of penectomy, castration, etc.

I know most people know how to search the Internet, but for a long time Google image searches were pretty sparse with any penectomy pics. Recently I think they've got a lot more medical images, because if look up something like "penis amputation", "priapism penectomy", etc. you'll get an eyeful (you'll need the safe search setting turned off, which may require you to be logged into Google).

To assuage LoseThem's fears that these are copyright infringements, I think most of these pics are not stolen as they are mostly medical papers.

There are those and more on those subjects that I have seen as well as some castrations ones all or most are medical in nature.

I don't know about this... these unfortunate souls are surely traumatized by their condition. This is so far removed from the voluntary castration discussed here, which men believe is a step towards a better life. Looking at these tragedies for titillation doesn't seem right

It's not just titillation though. First of all it shows the reality that losing these body parts is a serious medical procedure. Maybe seeing these will make someone think twice before trying to slice then off themselves. It also shows the reality if the results, again to help separate out the fantasy. I personally do these searches at times when I have the urge to mutilate myself, I guess hoping to find out it was easy to do. And then I see an actual damaged penis and remind myself that that isn't something I want in reality.
