My sewage is stewing quite nicely thank you.

Well, it took a long time. A month with soycakes rotting in the basement. 3 weeks of drying them out. 2 weeks of finding a suitable jar. Now my project spends a couple of months in a jar filled with brine. It has only been in there for 12 hours but I could not resist tasting it. Very good so far! The roommate won't touch it.

Yes it smells terrible. Yes it looks like a combination of old brains in alcohol and rotting sewage. Yes it was a bitch to get this far, but lets hope that for MoM we have homemade soysauce.

I have watched the several stages of this process, I remember going down into the basement and my eyes started to water.

NO really who knew it took months to make soy sauce?

Anthony Bourdain may show up at a MOM. You might want to start saving the little packets of soy sauce from your take out orders. Just sayin'
