There were a couple of links I had not seen before. Two of the reasons I am seeking orchechtomy are:

1: To reduce the need for anti-androgens so that the estrogens can work unopposed. I still feel that testosterone is acting upon my body and slowing my progress.

2: The need to see less of the genitals. With a smaller package, I will feel closer to my goals.

If you haven't done so already. you might want to visit Sheery's web site at...

Sherry also posts here at infrequent times. Sherry started off with castration as the first step in her transitioning program, and there is a lot to be said for it. If you have not done so already, you might also want to go to Dr. Spector's web site and click on the "hormones" page link.

I have been to Sherry's web site many times. She has a very informative web site. I had hoped she and I could chat more as I have sent several e-mails to her, but I have not had any replys lately. I know it is difficult to find the time to reply to all the e-mails, but if you are reading this Sherry, I would like to hear from you again. I feel we have much in common, and would like to chat with you more often.

As for Dr. Spector's web site, I have been registered with him since November 2001, just before the time he had joined up with Dr. Kimmel. I have chatted with Dr. Spector several times via e-mail. I believe in his philosophy to have castration before introducing female hormones into your system. It is a very logical approach to obtain feminization. I soon may have the funds to seek his services. I have been saving up money all year and in about 2 months, I should have enough to go to him.

PS: I had many links to web sites concerning transgender issues and orchechtomy, but I had a system crash early this year and lost many of my links to these sites. I have not been able to remember all of the sites I have been to, that is why I make reference to them but cannot offer a link to them.
