My mate and I are beginning the journey that will ultimately lead to his castration...his decision. My questions are for the other mates out there. What is life like after? There will be physical emotional etc changes, how did they change your relationship? Obviously the big questions are about sex. But also desire? If using HRT how long from hormone to hardon? So you only inject for sex or as a routine? And many more....would love to chat

I am the castrated part of a relationship. When I am diligent about my use of HRT my sex drive is a little stronger than my intact partner, but if I skip a week or so, that libido fades pretty quickly.

My own experiences are that castrated men tend to be more emotional and in touch with their feelings, it is easier to cry, and displaying your emotions is not supressed like in so many men.

Physical changes depend on the individual and whether they use HRT or not. HRT in many cases is better than the natural supply as it does not flucuate as any naturally produced hormone does. It is easier for me to build muscle, and maintain my weight after castration than it was before. Without HRT you can expect to see a loss of upper body strength, and a thickening acroos the hips and possibly breats developement. many are just fine with these changes, and some non T eunuchs actually still have active sexual relationships. Individual cases vary widely.

If your partner is considering castration , you both need to be fully aware of the possible consequences, and the changes that come. Only then can you make a sound decision what is the right choice for you and your partner.

T. injections are not an off/on switch for sex.

Please make use of the forums and do some research. There's a lot more to it than just becoming impotent.

For me, despite using HRT and having a normal level of testosterone for someone my age, I still have little desire for sex. Other castrates who use HRT have also commented on having experienced this same phenomenon.

Thank you for your thoughtful comments. I am trying to get a feel for day in day out life. I am committed to this man's desire and path but need to have a deeper understanding of how it will affect our private life. Emotional and physical changes I know will occur but how have they affected you and your partner and what are best practices for dealing with them. And yes it includes sex.

That is what i am trying to do but from the partner's perspective. This does impact the relationship as a whole. I am hoping to find others that have gone through the journey in a support role.

And how do you and your partner deal with it?

Do your research. Be careful. read lots here as well as well as the links to authoritive publications in many posts written by experts.

We are straight couple on HRT and well. Our story is a medical loss of nuts and making the best of it, so different from yours. -but we do know what it feels like for us, but as often said here, your mileage may vary.
