IEunuch went to ER last night as he had great difficulty breathing. We spoke to him tonight, and he's breathing better. Hospital will keep him till Wednesday.

IE said he has a condition called Epiglottis.

Epiglottis is a body part, specifically the "valve" that regulates air into the lungs vs. food into the stomach.

I think you meant Epiglottitis, which would be an inflamed Epiglottis.

Regardless, I hope he gets well soon. We like having him around here.

Get well quickly IE! When I worked at a hospital we had a male patient with epoglottitis. He was being watched and treated. All of a sudden his throat closed and the doctor could not inhibate him. Sadly it did not turn out well. I am glad IE is admitted and receiving care.
