Got some home remedies to share.

Here is the thread.

Inspired by a "sour stomach" I seem to suffer in Spring time on occasion.

Ginger.

I became tired of my sour stomach, attempts to medicate with food or Pepto Bismol, superior to the white stuff, so

I went for the ginger. Sometimes a piece of sugared, candied ginger but today a couple pieces of Asian ginger candy.

It really, really, really worked well and I just hadta share.

The theory is from the before time

treat a sour stomach with something strong and pungent to stimulate it back to normalcy.

Not bland, or chalky. Ginger, white candied or sushi ginger work very well.

And water, water, water. Don't forget hydration. Sour stomach sometimes is mile dehydration.

Concentrated secretions and such.

Moi

GingerWater ? Hydration and tummy relief too.

PM interest in investing in GingerWater Enterprises, Inc.

Hey :D

This thread made me think, does anyone have any home remedies that help ease the symptoms of castration etc?

Thought it might be a good idea to have both general home remedies for ailments and those specific to castration.

I am not castrated either chemically or physically(yet) but this thread made me think of the side effects commonly listed here and how home remedies may apply.

On that note, lets get creative ;)

Candied ginger sometimes feels like it is some biological weapon of mass destruction, you know, cleansing fire :-).

PS. If you have gallstones, be careful with too much ginger, it stimulates bile production, and can cause trouble.

Some times diversion is as good as a cure. Once they're cut off-as mine were-there's a period of adjustment, a minor part of which is discomfort.

As a teenager I had some sort of lung problem and my grandmother had a "sovereign" cure for that, a mustard plaster. Dutiful child that I was, I bared my somewhat hairy chest and allowed her to apply this sallow yellow coloured goo that made one remember why mustard gas had been outlawed in World War One, as part of the treaty of Versaille unknown to my grandmother. I wondered, idly, if she was going to tie me, spread eagled, to the bed? Happy with her work she gave me a grandmotherly smile-who knew she worked, part time, for the Auta Da Fe?- and told me to "rest and let it do what it's supposed to do." I wasn't sure she knew what it was supposed to do but respect for one's elders.....Tempus Fugit. Maybe two hours later, I know I'd stopped crying with pan, invoking the deity and praying for death when she came back in, again all smiles, and said it was time to take it off. I was for that. As would happen, apparently her knowledge of the existence of the product did not extend to a complete understanding of the uses and applications of it. Gently lifting it at one edge did...nothing. So we both lifted. Nothing some more. Adding hot water just revived the stench and trying to crack it with her hand mirror and a hair brush only cracked the mirror-and I sensed I knew who would have seven years of bad luck, I was already on day one of year one. She rang for the butler. George appeared, looked at me, looked at my chest covering and looked at her..."Miss Ida, what have you done?" So she told him. It would seem that one does not use the whole jar of the stuff, just a slight coating which then does dry and can be flaked off. What she'd done was pour concrete on me and it had stuck to my pores, the hair on my chest, as with anything that dries to do loss of moisture it had shrunk and gathered up the skin and held it. You couldn't get a pry of any kind under it and to bang it hard enough to crack it probably would have broken my sternum. Eventually I was put in my grandfather's steam chamber and, as much as was possible, this pot hole filler was encouraged to turn to a sort of firm sludge. And, after that, it could be pried off with some cosiderable pain. It's also why, to this day, I have a corona of hair surrounding a large, bald spot. All that said, if you want to try some home remedy for purposes of castration, dip your scrotum in a jar-not glass-filled with mustard plaster-unless they're now illegal to sell-and wait several hours. Apart from the pain the plaster will engender, taking it off may be more easily accomplished with a hand held motorized electrical saw. For those who wish to lose 'em with a saw, there's your opportunity.

Don't thank me, see this as a warning against home cures and remedies most of which have been banned for perfectly good reasons by the Food and Drug Agency.

Some remedies for gallstones. My friend had surgery to remove them and that was nearly a yr ago. I blame all that nasty "poutine" with excessive beef gravy as the main culprit. She loved that stuff and ate at NewYork Fries whenever she could.

Careful with the tumeric. Excessive amts of both this and cinammon lead to "oxalate" kidney stones. Moderation. Like a teaspoon once in a while.

NB = medicine is like asking for a slippery slope of every wanted and unwanted response to stimuli. Affecting one thing will triggur another.

The medical short cut for gallstones is "Fat, Female, Forty, and Flatulent"... A 4-F spectacular.

I have seen several remedies that claim to promote biliary circulation.

I see this as a good thing.

Yes you might have a stone and improving your biliary circulation could just circulate that stone to obstruct.

Consider, that stone formed because of a concentrated liquid not circulating, and not being excreted.

The Atkins Diet is great for promoting biliary circulation.

I have known some to face gall bladder problems in the first weeks of that diet.

If you want to promote biliary circulation, just eat your fats without carbs.

You don't want anything to soften the feeling of grease in the tummy.

Lately Ive been very keen in prevention of wrinkles. namely crows feet and smile lines.

It's become evident however I'm more likely to suffer from crow's feet and saggy eye bags and have been very into using organic solutions such as cold pressed rose-hip oil(containing tretoinin the parent molecule from retinol-A vitamin A) and virgin cocnut oil to moisturize my face before bed.

I am keen in trying advanced methods on myself and this is where I need a little help especially those who are active in the BME-scene.

For those who are you must be familiar with the latest craze out there for collagen build-up.

The derma-roller is a "micro-needling" or acupuncture method to stimulate the cells around the dermis layer of the skin to start producing more collagen.(helps to be on a healthy diet)

I'm very sure the method has a relatively good success but I question the manufactures claim on it's sanitation.

Simply be it that a scrub in rubbing alcohol(be it 99% isopropynol) is not enough to sterilize shit these days.

Ive heard of more advanced methods that go into sterilizing items on BME (bleach or the use of autoclaves) and to me those methods seem to make the most sense on properly avoiding tougher strains of bacteria altogether. be it hepatitis, E coli and staph infections.

Remember were talking about puncturing deep layers of the face with microneedling. I've researched cases where people have tried to disinfect the dermaroller and it resulted in heavy infections of the face that required hospitalization.

It's best to be educated than be sorry.

NB = If any of you guys have experience with use of an autoclave or proper bleach ratio preparation (bleach will corrode the plastic sustaining the needles from the dermaroller so if these needles get stuck inside face.....well thats an ultimate bummer) that would be mondo tubulouso!!!!!!

Mind you I do anticipate to have to replace these plastic roller every 3 months or so due to it wearing out.

What I would like to see in "home remedies".

How to cure bigotry.

How to wean off of following news (from any source....TV, paper, internet, radio, etc.)

How to develop good habits

Most remedies are oriented towards the body.

Me, and probably others, need good remedies to fix our minds.

I get caught in an infinity loop.

I don't consider myself a bigot, yet, I find I may be bigoted towards bigots.

It's Like computer code that creates a programming loop.

What home remedy do you need most, mental, physical, emotional, spiritual...........or ...?

The best home remedy I ever found was on the EA.

It was T.A.I. and it worked for me.

Wasn't fun, wasn't pain free, was risky, but thankfully, it worked and without complications or negative side effects.

And not to be overlooked, did not require surgery, insurance, medication, and was affordable (cheap actually).

I am glad I found TAI, as I don't think I could do the other calcium method that is the current trend.

As with all such home remedies, you takes your chances. What is good for one is not necessarily good for another.

Take nothing for granted, especially the claims of someone else, especially who you don't know.

This time last year I planned to do a TCA peel in the Autumn, but with work being so messy I didn't get the chance. If things pick up for me this year and I get to do it I'll let you know how I get on.
