There was a farm on which there was a Chicken and a Horse which were inseperable friends.
One day, the horse fell into a large muddy pit from which it could not get out. As he struggled he felt himself sinking deeper and deeper in the mire.
"Quick", the horse said to the chicken, "go and fetch the farmer".
The chicken ran as fast as it could up to the farmhouse, but there was no one there. The farmer had gone out to town in the only tractor. Looking round desperately, the chicken noticed that the farmer's brand shiny new BMW was parked in the drive with the keys in the ignition and that there was a rope in the barn.
Grabbing the rope and throwing it into the car, the chicken jumped in and drove as fast as it could to the pit where the horse was stuck. It managed to tie one end of the rope to the back bumper and threw the other end to the horse. "Grab hold of this and I will pull you out".
The horse grasped the rope in its teeth and the chicken gently eased the car forward until the horse was free of the pit. The chicken then returned the car to the drive so that the farmer was none the wiser.
The horse and chicken were even more inseparable than before.
One day, the chicken fell into a large muddy puddle and found that it could not get out. It called to the horse, to go and get the farmer.
The horse came over and appraised the situation and then straddled the pit. "Grab my 'thing' and I will pull you out" said the horse. The chicken did as it was told and the horse quickly managed to free it.
And, the moral of this story is .............
When you are hung like a horse, you do not need a BMW to pull chicks!
