I Am So Old
My Medicare started today.
I took the supplementals offered by Aetna and the Rx plan by Humana/Walmart.
3.5 decades to go. And I guess I will just feel older. When to collect Social Security ? ?
So Old

Something is wrong. I'm supposed to be on some pills for something such as
diabetes or high blood pressure or heart disease. Something just isn't right here.
How old do I have to be?

Tsk' tsk. Such children. After the first few centuries you tend to lose count,, and it gets harder to figure out just what age appropriate behavior is.

If you want to feel old............look in the mirror.
If you don't want to feel old..............look within. And avoid mirrors.
And,
Desiderata.

You have not yet shaken a cane at me and yelled at me to get off your lawn, so you're not over the hill yet.

If you really are in good health skip the medi-gap and Part D for a while.
Medicare does not allow medical suppliers to overcharge you as much as they
do the average citizen. My $5000 bill from two months ago became $500 allowed
by medicare, of which my portion will be about $150.
And since you don't approve of fancy big pharma drugs, generic may be a better
choice for you than Part D.

You're only young once, but you can be immature forever. Age is just a number.
