Extremely important!!! New light on the horrible truth about propecia?! advice needed

A few days ago (while my PC was being repaired) I has an appointment with my urologist. As soon as he ended my labs and exams, he started to speak. A different doctor had proscribed propecia for my boyfriend because he is getting bald. Inmediately the doctor started to make a big fuss about it. the reasons is well known in this blog. Even I warned my BF aboput it. However even when he started drinking this medicine, he got no side effects. He then shared a lot of information about it is supposed to happen.

The doctor started questioning my BF about his sex life. do you enjoy "being a man"? do you like all that intense craving for sex? o you enjoy fucking your boyfriend or what do you think about all the sex you had with him?. He started to "troll" him. He even started to make "threats", he got more seriously and menacing. do you want to become impotent?, do you want an eternally limp penis, with no feeling, sensation or way to release yourself? do you want to be an eunuch, to shrink your balls, yor penis, and to fry you r own sex drive?. (note: he was being a troll, and he even scared my boyfriend by his attitude)

"then you should stop taking that drug". He started explaining all the well known "post-finasteride syndrome" it`s symptoms, how many men suffer it, and why the drug is no more being proscribed. He even came latter with an explaination about why it `s SUPPOSED TO HAPPEN. It`s extremely iMPORTANT TO NOTE THAT WHAT YOU ARE ABOUT TO READ IS A MERE CONJETURE, A HYPOTHESYS, AND WHILE MANY HOPE IT`S RIGHT AND COULD HELP OTHERS SUFFERING, IT`S STILL NOT 100% SURE ABOUT IT.

well, depending on your genetic structure, certanis genes are "overreceptive" to the drug. Many men take this drug during weeks, and barely experience anything (sometimes they don`t get the desired effect), while many men take it for a very short time and suffer a lot of negative side effects. it depens on your genetic make-up. Depending on your genes, you may get one of the next effects:

A)) nothing happens to you. Not even the "therapeutic" effect. Apparently there are people who are somewhat inmune to this drug. I personally, took this drug during weeks to stop erections, and it did nothing to me. Also it seems that 16%-21% of the male population is in this group.

B) give you a mild effect. Your genes are pretty dofferent from the other guys in there, so a few guys only get lesser effects from it. Many of you may be thinking/wondering why I wrote this as an effect. Well, depending on the number of your genes affected, is the intensity of the side effects. 12-16% of the male population.

C) Get the "normal" desired effect. Desired effects include shrinking of the prostate gland, reducing balding effects, and lowering DHT levels. Apparently 60%-88% of the population is in this group.

D) Get stronger than usual effects. People with bad/damaged genes are somewhat prone to this. Also, weirdly, people who do drugs, drink alcohol a lot, are often pretty stressed or drink meds chronicly are often in this group. Even then, the ratioo is 10%-12%.

E) get the worst possible outcome. Damaging the testosterone levels, all others hormones, estradiol, the lhrh feedback, damaging your DHT receptors through your body permanently with no way to fix or reverse the condition. This, basically means getting a chemical castration, afetr endocrine system crash sets in. the ratio is somewhat high at 22%-35%.

(NOTE: the percentages are still under investigation. The doctor with help and colaboration from other urologists and diverse medics from other clinics are getting valuable feedback, and he told me that the porcentage numbers may change soon)

He explained that has been a year since he proscribed his last dose of this thing. Since then, he started to investigate the "whole picture" of the post-finasteride syndrome on his own. As he started researching, many other doctors started joining him. He now has the help of a genetist (who proposed the idea of the genes and is helping him out actually).

Also, continuing with the information (although a bit redundant). Finasteride, with any brand name, is responsive for inducing sterility in males ranging between all the ages. Males from 20 to 70 Y/O reported being sterile after mere weeks to months from simply taking the drug. While 60 to 70 Y/O seems a bit out of range the youngest people are obviously not. People who take this drug experience a small testicle shrinking, a small testicle soreness and sometimes, absence of semen or very little. (However, the aforementioned ranges are at play in there as well.)

Also, why finasteride is so utterly awful with your "equipment". Well, as we know, our sex organs, need erections to get our penises working optimally working. Closely related to erections are levels of DHT and pure T. Erections deliver blood, testosterone, nurishment and help remove colagen in the cavernous sorpora of the penis. Also, the mayority of the nerves in the pubic area are sensitive to DHT. This means the whole area has DHT receptors. The scrotum, the foreskin, the glans, the testicles themselves, and the prostate and seminal vesicles are filled with DHT. Hell, even other areas, like the bladder, intestines, and brain have some of these receptors. Well, cells in the sex organs need DHT and T to have a good cell and tissue formation. Removing these two chemical in your body, damages the cells and tissue of the organs, to the point of atrophy. Also in the case of the penis, once impotence sets in, the disease commonly known as "peyronie`s disease"

due to this effect. Also, your penis need Blood to keep himself well nourished. Without blood, it slowly shrinks (think of it as a ballon), Without T and/or DHT, it slowly loses feeling, erectile capacity, elasticity and temperature. Remember guys, Finasteride blocks DHT. Get it now? It basically shuts down your penis.

There are a list of others symptoms that are caused by finasteride. there are also symptoms marked with "ur" which means "under research"

-lack of motivation

-drowsiness

-loss of strenght

-diarrea (not sure)

-constipation(not sure)

-emotional flattening

-depression

-loss of appetite

-nausea/vomiting

-worsening of dementia (UR)

-cystitis (inflamation of bladder) (UR)

-pains in lower back area (UR)

-feeling of intense hunger/thirst (UR)

-suicide thoughts (UR)

The are even more, but the list would never end.

There is a lot more of this information. However, my time is running low so I have to go. As soon as I can post more information (I have a lot of it) I will post it in this thread. Please note that this research has been done by my urologist along others doctors by themselves. They are not getting anything from it, only information.

ALSO, I DO NOT WANT TO HURT ANYBODY BY POSTING THIS HERE. I BEG FOR YOUR FORGIVENESS IS THE INFORMATION SEEMS OUT OF ORDER, OR MESSY. THIS INFORMATION IS SERIOUS. I AM NOT IN ANY WAY TROLLING ANYONE. i APPRECIATE AY SORT OF FEEDBACK PRETTY MUCH. i POSTED IT HERE SO MANY OF YOU GUYS CAN GET INFORMED ABOUT THIS THEORY. THANKS.

Perhaps I may properly mention the authors and titles of a few of the books in my library.

I neither recommend reading any or all of them, nor do I recommend not reading any or all of them.

Dr. Gilbert H. Welch, "Overdiagnosed: Making People Sick in the Pursuit of Health," 2011

Ben Goldacre, "Bad Pharma: How Drug Companies Mislead Doctors and Harm Patients," 2012

David Healy, "Pharmageddon," 2012

Peter R. Breggin, M.D., "Toxic Psychiatry," 1991

Grace E.Jackson, M.D., :"Drug-Induced Dementia: A Perfect Crime," 2009

Peter R. Breggin, M.D., "Medication Madness: The Role of Psychiatric Drugs in Cases of Violence, Suicide, and Crime," 2008

Based on its observed effects, I am leaning toward regarding finasteride as being a psychotropic medicine...

And Peyronie's disease may also be called, '"bent penis," and may be the result of scarring of the corpus cavernosa.

And, to minimize my risk of dying from cancer as did my dad and brother, I quit testosterone in the summer of 1986, have never resumed taking testosterone as a medication, have not experienced penis shrinking, or loss of feeling, or elasticity, and my penis seems to run at about the same temperature as it did before my bilateral cancer-prophylaxis orchiectomy.

Normal life is not, in my view, a medical disorder.

...and then, as always, there's the flip side of it.

Damaging my testosterone levels? Shutting off DHT receptors permanently? Atrophy of the male genitals? Inability to produce sperm? Lower sex drive? Shutting off the penis? Gynecomasia, possibly caused by increased sensitivity to estrogen?

Oh no, what's a poor girl like me to do? What would I EVER do if any of those terrible side effects happened to me? 😇

Again, these are indeed serious side effects that should not be neglected if you're planning on continuing your normal life as a male, but there is quite a proportion of the population that takes it for the exact opposite reason.

Rejoice with gladness?

I have no advice to convey. However, to the extent those "terrible" side effects happened to me, "rejoicing with gladness" was the choice I made.

"Terrible" for whom? Not for me.

Yes, after reading about "post-finasteride syndrome", I was extremely tempted to try.

I've been taking this stuff for several years now, it was prescribed by my urologist, and my hair has made some comeback...not all of it, but a substantial increase on the top of my head...As for the de-masculinization(?)...Great...bring it on...But, as has been mentioned, if you're a normal male, it could suck...Especially Dead Dick syndrome...hehe Luv it! Jackie

I wonder how Selena Gomez handles Beiber with him quite possibly using propecia.

Well... Now we know why his masculinization has been suppressed(if only temporarily) but surely he must be terrible in bed.

Butterflyjack you propose an interesting theorem. Justin may suffer from Dead Dick Syndrome.

With the constant dating and breaking up going on I can only imagine the kid may need to make a choice between his "pingas" or his hair LULZ.

I can't wait to see him bald and eat up his own words.

Another example of a medicine that works well for the purpose it was created and then....a side effect was noted. More men are given Propecia/Finasteride to preserve their hair than their health. In some cases sterility can occur in six weeks, some perhaps much longer BUT when you are taking a medicine that interferes with the basics of your reproductive system then side effect, both good and bad, will occur. What more doctors should say is...."I'll prescribe this for you IF you'll sign here that you've been completely warned about some very undesirable side effects that may include sterilizing yourself in a very short period of time. Lack of ability to have sex. Your testes will become mush. So, if you want it, fine, if your hair matters more than your heir, here's the prescription and remember, sterility is not reversible." And I have little doubt that many men would wander into "It cannot happen to me land" and sign up. When, not if, they find they've castrated themselves , just leaving all the visible bits and pieces in plain sight, there's nothing to do and I should imagine there are Urologist who, on a daily basis, have the sad duty of telling a horrified patient that he's a eunuch regardless of what he sees between his legs. Remember Thalidomide? This is for the gentlemen what that was for the ladies thought I must say, with not quite the disastrous consequences that affected generations; In this case, there will be no generations. Of course, if doctors would prescribe it only for it's intended purpose, then we wouldn't be discussing it now.....

I must be in the majority that is mildly impacted by this drug, and also my son also takes it for hair loss. It most certainly has not curbed his sex drive and he has been talking it for some years now (at least judging by the empty condom wrappers found in the buggers bedroom and in his car), although possibly there are indicators of depression but not manic. The stress of loosing his hair was more stressful

For me I tried mixing this with cyproterone acetate with the desire to lower my sex drive, and even micro doses of this combo had a sever impact on my system which lasted for short to medium terms. Everything did return to normal eventually (for me over a period of about 6 months). I do agree that people with certain genetic markers could well be prone to more sever side effects and as such anyone contemplating using this drug (or a combination like I did) should do so with their eyes very wide open. At least my own experience does not warrant the irrational panic that seems prevalent in some places

I took propecia so I could avoid going bald. It had an effect when I took it in my 30's and it got to the place where my wife demanded that I stop taking the stuff because of the way it impacted our sex life. I was able to regain a lot of my sex drive but my desire for castration, either by elastrator or chemicals was born. I ordered finesteride online and eventually went to the urologist to get 5mg per day for my BPH. My cock and balls have gotten smaller. It is hard if not impossible to enter my wife even for a few seconds. My dick usually is able to cum only after a lot of work and then there is no real pleasure or release. This stuff kills your dick, your balls and your sex life. Enjoy or beware. As for me, I choose to enjoy.
