I am a straight male, replying to your post. I have been considering castration for quite some time now, but only seriously in the last month. I've looked up urologists here to do the surgery, and need to schedule a appointment for the consultation prior to getting this done. Since this is the first (and last) time I'll be getting castrated, I am not sure of how one goes about doing it, so that is why I am a little slow with it.

There's a lot of "straight" contributors to this topic and on this site who have been or desire to be castrated. All you have to do is look at their individual profiles. There's no reason for anyone to state their sexual orientation in many of the comments when one's particular sexuality isn't germane to the particular discussion at hand.

I've sought castration for some time and I'm straight as an arrow. My problem is pre-existing medical conditions that have had surgeons inform me that I am not a candidate for surgery. While I am "dying to get castrated," I don't enjoy the thoughts of "dying from being castrated."

While I am not straight, I can empathize with why you seek castration. I am going to be 57 very soon and in between pain issues I have with my testicles and the fact that sex is something that is fast declining in regularity for me, I am closer to actually going and getting castrated.

Straight or not what you are feeling is something that you want and if you research everything first then we are only here once and being happy is the most important thing.

Good luck from a happy eunuch

You're a brave man to put up with all that pain for so long. A colleague of mine had severe epididymitis, had the epididymis removed to no avail and suffered for 12 years. I felt terrible just being around him and seeing the pain he endured. Finally, he couldn't take it anymore and went for the bilateral orchi. The guy was in heaven afterwards, being pain free after so long. He kept repeating, "why didn't I do this sooner?" He also is a bike rider, went on HRT and now the only thing he complains about is the money he spends on his bike. No need to suffer, dude.

I am a cyclist also and have read how comfortable ridng can be without balls. What holds me back? A willing doctor to perform a bilateral orchiectomy is one. Second is that I have no one to help me after surgery. Third, I work an active job with a good bit of lifting and I can't just tell my boss I can'y lift due to having been castrated. Any other way, I'd hop on the operating table in a second.
