I think that is a viable thought as medical expertise is good there providing you go to a good facility. I'm told though like everywhere , you can have a bad experience too.
I've had a similar thought and one day if I finally decide to get rid of the last testicle I'd go there. Scrotum, testicles and a tight circumcision would be what I'd be after.

Do your homework and try to get some feedback from others who have gone to Thailand for castration. Be smart and stay safe. Also, make sure the doctor/surgeon knows exactly what you want and you might want to have more done than you think. What I mean is, why go through surgery twice or three times. If you want to be castrated then you might also want your scrotum removed at the same time, get it done and get it over with. Just my suggestion. Again, do your homework and try to find the most reputable surgeon.

In Thailand, many full fledged, properly certified hospital offer services to transgender patients, from simple castration to full SRS, with excellent standard of care. However, there are also uncertified clinics, especially those advertising on the internet.I have also heard, without knowing much details, of new Thai law now making really difficult to just get a castration, ever since one of those clinics castrated an under-aged transgender.Do you research well.
