I just had the honour of beta reading the next Simon installment, in which everyone's favorite British boy eunuch heads off to higher education! I was so thrilled. While not loaded with action like some have been, this one is more of a character study and a look at the adaption, somewhat deeper than the rest. Of course, there is the usual plot to uncover and break up, as well.

As always, an excellent read from CvanD!

I love the Simon stories so will be looking forward it being available.

I have read the edited version that Paolo sent me. I really feel like I have watched these characters grow up over the years. There is a kind of continuity that is comforting in reading the Simon series.

After reading this story I can sort of envision the future of Simon Scott. He will probably be running his own branch of MI6. He already drives James Bond's car, and has been involved in more adventures than 007. I see a specialized group of boy eunuchs, each with a special talent working as agents, and Simon as the 'Man with the plan'. Or 'M' for their spy branch. This is pure speculation on my part, of course.

Lovely to see the master return. I am looking forward to sharing it with you all at the next update.
