Testosterone and Viagra

Post by Slammr (imported) »

My daughter is visiting. She is a doctor at one of the largest hospitals in Texas and is an associate professor with the University of Texas. She was telling me about research they were doing with both Testosterone and Viagra. They are giving testosterone to people to rebuild atrophied muscles, and they are giving Viagra to people for general health purposes because it increases blood flow and has few side effects. Apparently, Viagra does more good for you than just getting your dick hard.

Viagra was developed as a heart medicine. It relaxed that type of muscle and lowered blood pressure.

I have started following the regimen they were using in the study, 50 mg once a day. My blood pressure has dropped about 10 points, and I'm feeling great. I'm even having less back problems than I was before I started it, but I don't know whether that is a result of taking Viagra. If I continue to feel like this, I'll make it a daily supplement.

Viagra doesn't make you hard without mental or physical stimulation, so I'm not getting more erections, but when I do get one, it is rock hard.

I've kind of thought that viagra might be good for when a low pressure system comes through the area. The sudden low pressure causes all kinds of problems for me. I've kind of studied into it and it's hard for me to explain why scientifically or otherwise but on a stormy day it could be just the thing. I've never tried it.

Viagra was developed to relax the smooth muscles of the circulatory system as that would lower blood pressure.

It is a vasodilator... It turns out that the muscles controlling erection are smooth muscles and also relax and let more blood in the penis.

HEre's the action of viagra: http://www.edrugstore.md/articles/viagr ... iagra-work

Here's article about Viagra and vasodilator drugs: http://heartdisease.about.com/cs/corona ... aheart.htm

Here's the story about it helping with congestive heart failure: http://www.sciencedaily.com/releases/20 ... 064924.htm

And having a low systolic blood pressure prior to taking viagra can cause problems.
