whether one was castrated, or perhaps neutered by chemical or alcohol, if it won't go up, and you want it to go up, here is the solution.

This is a medical surgical solution, a tad bloody, but very illustrative.

They're certainly an effective last ditch approach. I've seen a couple of them used, but nowhere near common.

I knew a paraplegic who had two different implants -- the one with the pump in the scrotum, a fluid reservoir in the tummy, and an extendable cylinder in the penis and when it wore out (he said the skin broke down) the doctors replaced it with two rods that held his penis erect all the time. One of those eventually poked out of his penis ahd the doctors had to remove the other. So he was left with a noodle.

He also said that the implants only made his penis stiff but not rock hard.

His girlfriend said he was very good in bed without it.

The paraplegic's experiences sound like a bad story that just got worse. Somehow it seems that some type of less invasive method to constrict the blood flow that leaves the penis would be preferable. That would cause the penis to build up blood pressure and enlarge. Of course stopping the blood flow would be wrong, just constricting. By pressing in the "right" place I can restrict the exiting blood flow and the penis inflates, but not to a real firm state. However sometimes I wake up with a bladder full erection, which is quite large and firm, but which is not related to sexual stimulation or desire and goes away immediately after relieving bladder. So I know mine is capable of inflating, but not via mental or physical attempts of stimulation. Lack of testosterone seems to overrule any conscious attempts of erectability. Not interested in such an artificial device being implanted. Just found it informative and educational. Had I been interested the paraplegic story would cause me to be uninterested.

I met the guy back in 1994 and I"m sure of the year because its the date of two occurrences of 666 on the PA lottery.

WHen I drove out one day, the radio talk guys were reminiscing about 666.

Back in 1994 there wasn't viagra and if the male patient insisted on being able to perform then the only alternative was implants.

the alternative was a hypodermic shot of some drug I forget the name of that induced an erection.

Wow, what really scares me is you said, "back in 1994". Seems like yesterday, seems a hundred years ago.

From what I have seen on the internet, guys still inject their penis with a drug to obtain an erection.

But without the inner upwelling of internal feelings, emotions that nature utilizes to create a natural erection, such manipulations don't seem like they would be the same.

But, if getting a "faux erection" led to the ability to develop an ejaculation sequence and the sexual relief that it provides, then I suppose it would be well worth the horror of shoving a needle into penis.

(added edit: not that I am looking for such a sequence or relief; quite the contrary. I over time developed the gumption to overcome the horror of shoving a needle into each ball many times over a year to obtain relief from testosterone via everclear injections; which worked for me, but I do not encourage anyone to do the same as who knows what kind of downside or disaster another might experience from such a outlandish risky tactic).
