Hi all I use a very small dose of testim gel made by Farington around 10mg per day almost not worth it, it comes in 30 small sealed tubes each are 50mg. My question even though I don't think anyone will know is after you open a tube now long does it last? I hate waste as I use the same tube for two days that still means I bin 60% OK its free in the UK but what a waste I often think of all you guys who have to pay. I called the manufacturing company and all they said is one tube is one dose that was a lot of help, is my second day use a waste of time or could I get day 3 and 4 out of the same tube. I have thought of dropping it altogether but I'll save that for another post.

Just a thought: I cut open toothpaste tubes and scrape out the rest...guess I'm cheap like that?

Go ahead and experiment with your doses; leaving a partially used tube for the next day won't hurt - just fold the top over. 5 grams (50 mg) of androgel (used here in Minneapolis) is a daily dose, and maintains me at about 350 ng/dl. I have gone half doses and no doses and have been fine. I find that once in a while I like to go without for a month or two. I seldom use half doses any more. But the longer I play with not using, I think my body is getting used to being low-level. It then becomes all the more difficult to raise an erection and maintain one. YMMV.

Nah, just dirt poor like the rest of us. I work for the bank, you know, and I'm not even employed there. Sound familiar?

I don't think there is any problem with the testim lasting for a very long time. I don't think the testosterone will decompose or anything, at least not in days or months, and most medical ointments are sterile when packaged and their base is meant to stay sterile as long as possible so doesn't have anything that bacteria will want to grow in. It might dry out I suppose.

Lastly, it is something you put on your skin so I don't think there could be much problem at all, any bacteria or spores that might get in the cream would be the same as what you already have floating around in the air.

But if you're talking days, I don't think it is any problem at all, and in fact probably would be still medically active and untainted months or years later, especially if you covered it again after briefly using it.

It comes with a screwtop cap on the end of the tube, kind of like toothpaste. Why don't you just put the cap back on, and use however much you need each day until you need a new tube?

That said, the brief time I was on Testim, I used an entire tube for each dose. I went off of it and onto Androgel because Testim had an "old man" odor to it, and at age 35 I wasn't quite ready for that.

Most times it comes in single use foil tubes, 5 grams each.

Hi all and thanks mine are small foil tubes 5g in 50 milligrams, ive never been offered androgell here in the uk i did try something called tostran which was great smelt nice and in a pump 10mg per pump spot on worked fine for 6 weeks then my skin became allergic to it `great`. As I said get it free on the nhs so no problem there just hate to waste it.

i decided to take no T at all since my orchiedectimy, and it feels great! i wouldnt even want one tube a day of that hell-juice. Gosh, T made me suffer so much.
