does castration change the desire for a penectomy?

i've noticed that it predominantly seems to only be the head of the penis that is the sexually sensitive part. The shaft doesn't bother me. So i'd never need a full penectomy anyway, but only to behead the culprit. i also remember a thread about numbing the head of the penis. So i was wondering, does castration change this sexual sensitivity of the head of the penis? As a child, the head of the penis never really seemed to have quite the same sensitivity, so i was wondering if after castration this sexual sensitivity of the head of the penis diminished for anyone? Because for me, something only has to brush against the tip, and that sets me off. My goal is to destroy lust.

I also wish an answer to this question because I am also considering getting castrated to control my desires.

To address one point you asked about numbing:

1. its dangerous

2. its permanent

3. it hurts like hell

I have personal experience with numbing my penis and I can tell you that it is not an easy task to undertake. I have had penectomy desires since I was 10 and one day while searching the web I found that you can numb the penis just by taking a rubber band to the base. I gave it a try and bam! the next day I had less sensitivity. It is not a cure for your problems, at all. There are complications that can arise from this such as, a blood clot. Be careful and always consult with a doctor.

It might, since I was castrated (and scrotum removed later) I wanted to have a glansectomy (cutting off the head of the penis). I wanted a tiny penis that had the look of uncircumcised. Even now the shaft skin coveres half of the head. But, getting that done is just too much money and too much effort for the result.

I never thought about a penectomy until after my castration. I was consumed by castration and then once that was accomplished, I started to have penectomy desires. I theorize that the rise of estrogen has something to do with this increased desire. I also speculate that once the testicles are gone, the castration desire simply turns into a penectomy desire. That also opens another can of worms. Why did I have a castration desire and now a penectomy desire? Am I dissatisfied with my male body and male parts? Do I have female genes that want to work themselves out? Do I struggle with GID or Gender Identity Disorder? Do you? Why do we reject our male parts? Why do you have a penectomy desire?

Currently my penectomy desire comes and goes. I'm not as possessed by the desire as I once was, I attempted to cut it off several times in the past while in a strange state of mind. I believe it will still happen though, especially since I have a professional reroute (perineal urethrostomy-I sit to pee now). As you age, you begin to care less about your penis, especially because the penis doesn't work as well as it did when you were younger. Most adult males over 50 struggle with erectile problems.

For me being smooth has always been the goal, before and after my castration. i did go through a few years after my castration where i was less driven by the desire, but now i am back to my research. One thing that has changed though, is that i used to desire a penectomy, while now i am more focused on vaginoplasty for a number of reasons, however none of them are because i want to live as a woman. For me the goal was always to be smooth, not necessarily to become sexless. i have chatted with a few who have had a penectomy and to a one they all wish they had vaginoplasty as it leaves you still capable of sexual activity and release, and it is more understood medically.

Well I have completed a castration, and also a glans removal. Just a pa, then a meatotomy then band it for a week or more. Surgically removed. But I still have feeling in the shaft so I can still get off. Going to try to remove the rest in the near future. Want to see what I can do to it first though. Too short for sex now, so I am left to my own needs now.

Hi all the one thing you are all for getting about is your prostate its the male G spot and something you can't easily get rid of its what makes an erection work and gives you a% of sexual thoughts. I am so much happier now I'm castrated as for a penectomy I'm not sure I never thought about it before but now a year on it entered my head. Time will tell.

I think it would depend on the basis for your desire for penectomy. For me it is entirely fetish and wanting to remove the "annoyance" of being oversexxed. So as testosterone levels go down for me, my desire for penectomy (and other genital mutilation) goes away too -- it just isn't exciting. When I have high test and am horny it seems like a "great" idea, really exciting, to cut off my penis,, but when I have low test or am not horny I'm like "why would I want to do that?" This is sign that it is more of a fetish.

For others, like maybe what Hash is describing above, it might be part of a larger gender identity issue or dissatisfaction with presenting as a male sexually.

To put it another way, your desire might be about the ACT of penectomy or it might be about the RESULT of penectomy. If the act excites you, then probably not a good idea to proceed. If the result fulfills you, then maybe it is something worth pursuing.

that is exactly the answer i was looking for. i have had these desires for years but only when i am excited, otherwise i am at peace with my dick. i think that it is just a fetish for me.

thank you

Your mileage will vary, each person is different so your feelings and your results will be different then the next person. As for me once I was castrated I have never had a desire for anything else, its done.

I am a eunuch of over 10 years.

Now as for getting this done be safe, be smart, have a Dr do it in a proper medical facility. The last thing we want to read about is that you died because some guy you trusted cut off your dick and you bled to death.
